The Year is now 2270, on Post World War Three Planet Earth and it is now 117 years later after World War Three on Planet Earth.
Three young girls are war orphans as all their family has succumbed to rational sickness and has died from it and none of their secondary families can take care of them and they are placed into The second phase of the United Federation of Planets relocation program first implemented in the year of 2148.
There were three phases of the program and the first phase was implemented in 2148, followed by 2153, and the third was implemented in the year of 2268 to accommodate the children who became war orphans or children who were left without parents that died from radiation sickness.
Susan Virginia Bell, Karissa Elizabeth Ann and Katheryn Grace Kelly all are left orphans when their parents and immediate family die from the long term side effects of radiation sickness.
They are among the 500 young people that will board the USS Republic on June 25, from Star-Fleet Headquarters located in San Francisco International Airport in California.
Susan Virginia Bell is the oldest of the three. She is 17 years old, Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell is 15 years old and Katheryn Grace Kelly is 13 years old.
All the young people are between the ages of 13 and 17 years old who are traveling to Star Base1 0 and 12 and they are all waiting in the waiting room of Star-Fleet Headquarters in California.

walks out and she tells them " We will start to board shortly, first the young women will board and then the young men afterwards.
Captain Katheryn Janeway tells her young travelers, "It will take us four years to reach Star Base 12, and three years to reach Star Base 10."
The USS Republic begins its long journey to Star Base 10 and 12 from Planet Earth.
The United Federation Space-Ship Republic has a library, garden, three mess halls, chapel, theater, comfortable living quarters, and commissary.
The most impressive part of The United Federation Spaceship Republic is the garden on every deck.
