Y/N stumbled into the house, her body heavy with the weight of what she had just learned. Her feet dragged across the floor as she made her way to their room, the space that once held all the love and memories they shared. She looked at the photos hanging on the walls—pictures of them smiling, holding hands, and laughing together. Those moments used to mean everything to her.
But now, they felt like lies.
The reality of it all hit her like a truck, knocking the breath out of her chest. She grabbed the pictures off the walls and hurled them across the room, her heart breaking with each shatter of glass. The room was a mess, but nothing compared to the storm raging inside her. Y/N collapsed to the floor, her knees hitting the ground hard, but she didn't care.
Tears poured down her face as she cried out, her voice filled with pain that seemed endless. It was like a part of her was dying inside. She had loved him, trusted him, and now she couldn't believe how blind she had been. She had loved a killer, a cheater. His love had been so weak, so empty. How could she not have seen it?
She couldn't stand it anymore. Her hands flew to her face, and she started slapping herself, punishing herself for staying with him, for believing in him. Her palms stung, but it didn't matter. She felt like a sinner, guilty for staying with someone who had done so much wrong. How could she not have known? How could she have been so blind?
Y/N kept crying, her sobs echoing in the empty room, wishing she could take it all back, wishing the pain would end. But all she could feel was the ache in her chest, the regret, and the anger at herself.
The next morning, Y/N woke up on the floor, her body curled up where she had fallen asleep, the room still a mess around her. Her head throbbed from all the crying, her eyes swollen and heavy with pain. Her whole body ached, not just from exhaustion, but from the weight of everything she had been through. She didn't even have the strength to face the world today. Work, life—none of it seemed to matter anymore.
Without thinking, she decided not to go to the office. She couldn't. Not like this.
Instead, she found herself walking to the cemetery, to her parents' grave. The place she hadn't visited in so long, but suddenly it felt like the only place she could go. She moved like a ghost, barely aware of the world around her, her heart feeling like an empty, hollow shell.
When she reached their graves, she stood there for a moment, staring at their names etched in stone. The pain in her chest tightened, and she fell to her knees in front of the graves, her fingers tracing the letters. Tears filled her eyes again, and before she knew it, they were streaming down her face, mixing with the rain that had just started to fall.
Y/n : "Why did you leave me alone?" she cried, her voice broken. "Why didn't you take me with you? I'm so alone... there's nobody with me."
Her tears came harder, and she sobbed, clutching the wet grass beneath her. The rain poured down, soaking her to the bone, but she didn't care. It was like the heavens were crying with her, sharing her grief. She felt like a living corpse, like she was walking through life without purpose, without direction.
The rain fell harder, but Y/N stayed there, feeling the weight of her loneliness crushing her, her cries the only sound in the quiet cemetery.
Taehyung stood stiff, his expression unreadable as he looked at Y/N. His voice was cold, almost emotionless when he spoke.
Taehyung: Open the sheet, Y/N. See for yourself."
Y/N hesitated, her body frozen in place. She could barely breathe. Her fingers twitched at her sides, but she couldn't bring herself to move. The weight of the moment crushed her, fear curling tightly around her chest.
Jimin, sitting nearby, finally snapped. He looked at Taehyung, his eyes blazing with anger.
Jimin: "Don't you dare, Mr. Kim!" he shouted, his voice shaking with rage. "She has a weak heart—don't you get that? You can't make her do this!"
Taehyung let out a low cough, a bitter laugh escaping his lips.
Taehyung : "Really, Jimin? Didn't you realize she had a weak heart when you were fucking Kia?" Taehyung's voice dripped with venom. "Why are you scared now, huh? You should be proud. Why not show her the masterpiece you created?"
Jimin's face twisted with pain and fury. He tried to lunge out of his handcuffs, but the officers grabbed him, holding him back. His eyes, filled with regret, locked onto Taehyung's, but Taehyung's gaze never wavered. His words hit like a hammer, shattering what little was left of the moment.
But Y/N wasn't focused on the fight. Her eyes were fixed on the body lying before her, her heart pounding erratically in her chest. Each word from Taehyung was like a knife, cutting into her soul. The room felt like it was closing in, the air thick and suffocating.
Her hands trembled as she reached for the sheet. Her heart ached, beating so hard she thought it might stop at any moment. She pulled the sheet away slowly, inch by inch, her breath catching in her throat. Then, as Kia's face was revealed, everything inside Y/N broke.
The sight was more horrifying than she could have imagined. Kia's face was pale, bruised, and bloodied—completely unrecognizable. The life that once filled her was gone, replaced by a cold, lifeless shell.
A scream tore from Y/N's throat, raw and agonizing, echoing through the room. Her legs gave out beneath her, and she collapsed onto the cold floor, her vision blurring. The last thing she heard was Jimin shouting her name, his voice desperate and broken.
Then everything went black.
