I didn't have a favorite color
Until my sight met his eyes
So brown, so deep
Sweet, the way caramel is
Depths, like dark ocean beds
High, like clouds above hills
Radiant, like a smoky quartzI didn't have a favorite feeling
Until my hand met his hair
So silky, so smooth
Black, like friendly shadows
Curly, as if opening a portal
Twisted, as if rippling in air
Shiny, as if blackbird's wingsI didn't have a favorite person
Until my body met his aura
So warm, so graceful
Sacred, as if a Greek God
Visuals, the way nature is
Curve, the way a valley is
Presence, the way sky is
