October 1, 17:44pm(2024)As the sun began to dip lower in the sky, casting a golden hue over the park, Yoko found herself wandering back to the same spot where she had seen Faye earlier. She had left Sunny with ling ling and her seminar was had already ended. Yoko was wanting to approach Faye without the distraction of her enthusiastic dog.
The encounter earlier had stirred a mix of emotions in Yoko. Sure, it was a little annoying that Faye had completely ignored her, but there was something about that aloofness that only fueled Yoko's curiosity.
With a deep breath, Yoko spotted Faye sitting on a bench, sketching in a notebook. The sight was captivating—Faye's brow furrowed in concentration, a lock of hair falling across her face. For a moment, Yoko just watched, her annoyance fading into admiration.
"Mind if I join you?" Yoko called out, her voice light and teasing as she approached the bench.
Faye looked up, surprise flickering in her eyes. "Oh, um, sure." She shifted slightly, making room for Yoko, but there was a hint of guardedness in her expression.
"Hey I'm Yoko. We kinda sort of met earlier."
"hello. I'm sorry. I don't remember ." Faye lied.
"I'm Faye. MALISORN. By the way."She replied with an arrogant smile.
Yoko settled onto the bench beside her, a playful smirk on her lips. "So, you just like to ignore cute girls and their dogs, huh?"
Faye's cheeks flushed slightly, and she shot Yoko a confused look. "I wasn't ignoring you. I was... focused."
"Focused, huh?" Yoko leaned in a little closer, her tone flirtatious. "You could've at least acknowledged my presence. I was practically waving a fluffy dog in your face."
Faye chuckled, a soft sound that sent a thrill through Yoko. "I'm sorry. I guess I was in my own head."
Yoko raised an eyebrow, a teasing grin playing on her lips. "Well, I don't bite... unless you ask nicely." She winked, reveling in the surprise that flickered across Faye's face.
Faye's gaze dropped to her notebook, a hint of a smile tugging at her lips. "I didn't realize you were so conspicuous."
"Oh, I'm full of surprises," Yoko replied, leaning back against the bench with a confident air. "But I'd like to know more about you too. You're not as mysterious as you think, Faye."
Faye looked up, her expression softening as she met Yoko's gaze. There was something there—an unspoken connection that crackled in the air between them. Yoko felt a surge of hope; maybe this time, Faye would let her in.
"What are you sketching?" Yoko asked, nodding toward the notebook.
Faye hesitated, her eyes flickering to the pages. "Just some drawings... nothing special."
"C'mon, let me see! I promise not to judge," Yoko insisted, leaning forward with genuine interest.
Finally, Faye turned the notebook around, revealing delicate sketch of "alien flower". Yoko's breath caught at the beauty of Faye's art, the intricate details speaking volumes of her talent.
