Faye stood outside the art therapy class, her heart thudding in her chest. She hadn't planned on sneaking in like this, but after everything with Yoko, something in her had shifted. Faye felt like she needed to be closer to this world, to at least see what art in this university looked like. It wasn't her first choice, but it felt like the right thing to do. She hadn't told Yoko she'd be here, of course. It was just a curious little detour, right?

As she quietly opened the door and slipped inside, she was immediately taken by the calm atmosphere. The soft scratching of pencils and the quiet hum of focused energy wrapped around her, drawing her in. Faye scanned the room, and there she was—Yoko—seated at an easel, completely absorbed in her sketch.

Faye's heart skipped a beat. She hadn't expected to feel this way. Yoko looked so focused, so in her element. Faye found herself stealing glances, her gaze lingering longer than she meant it to.

She quickly moved to an empty seat next to Yoko's canvas, trying not to disturb her. The room was quiet, almost serene—until the door opened again, and in sauntered Lux.

Faye's eyes widened in surprise. Lux clearly wasn't here for the art class, that much was obvious. Lux spotted Faye almost immediately, raising an eyebrow in amusement as she made her way over to sit beside her. "What are you doing here?" Lux asked, barely containing a grin.

Before Faye could respond, Lux leaned in, her voice a low whisper. "You checking out the local art scene, or... someone in particular?" Her gaze flickered toward Yoko, and Faye felt her cheeks heat up. Of course Lux noticed.

"I just... wanted to see what it's like," Faye murmured, trying to keep her voice casual.

Lux leaned back, amused, but her playful expression suddenly shifted as if she remembered something. "You know, my dad's been talking about you. He's all concerned, asking me if I'm playing with a Malisorn's feelings." Her voice dripped with amusement. "You wouldn't believe the things he's been asking me. Like, if we're a couple."

Faye's heart raced, panic settling in. "What are you talking about?" she whispered sharply, glancing around to make sure no one was listening.

Lux smirked, clearly enjoying herself. "Oh, you know... things like, are we having sex? Are we together? Did we hook up in your lie, or are we planning to?" Her voice was teasing, filled with excitement at Faye's discomfort.

Faye shot her a glare. "I had to tell my mother I was at your repair shop last night. You know how she is. She'd never let me hear the end of it if she found out where I really was..."
