Ranbir and Ranveer participated in many different acts, games, and activities. They tried their best to entertain the guests properly, and they succeeded. Everyone at the party loved their entertainment, and it didn't seem so boring to them, now that Ranbir and Ranveer were the hosts.

Karan and Kapil did a splendid job as well. Sure, the guests loved Karan a little more than Kapil, but Kapil had his fair share of fans as well. So, there were no hard feelings there.

"You two did great!" Deepika exclaimed as she, Alia, and Priyanka approached Ranbir and Ranveer.

"Thank you, love," Ranveer said, kissing her cheek. "Glad you liked it."

"How did the badminton game go?" Ranbir asked, not shaking the thought from his memory. Alia gulped, which was definitely not a good sign.

"DP totally crushed her!" Priyanka exclaimed, laughing. "Didn't she, Aloo?"

"She didn't crush me," Alia said.

"What was the score?" Ranveer asked, becoming more and more amused.

"Zero to thirty," Priyanka said. "I wanted them to keep going, but Deepika didn't want to make Alia feel bad, so they stopped."

"Alia, I told you not to lose!" Ranbir scolded jokingly. Alia pouted.

Ranveer crossed his arms. "At least she didn't crush you as bad as she crushed me."

"How is that possible?" Alia asked. "I had zero."

"Deepika and I played longer. I had fifteen, she had fifty."

"Ranveer isn't bad at badminton. He's pretty good," Deepika informed them. "It's just, he's never really had a chance to play before, and I'd been playing for a while before I quit so I could start acting."

"Well, Ranveer and I are going to go talk to the guys," Ranbir said, slinging an arm around Ranveer's shoulders. "We'll be back later. Come on, bro."

The two walked away. As soon as they were out of sight in the crowd, Vin appeared in front of the three girls, as if he had been waiting for Ranbir and Ranveer to leave.

"Hello, ladies. You're all looking magnificent today," Vin said flirtatiously.

Alia narrowed her eyes. "Don't flatter me with your complex English!"

"Alright, alright," Vin said, holding his hands up. "But I came over here to talk to Deepika. So, please let us talk."

"It's Deepika, idiot!" Alia screeched, pronouncing Deepika's name correctly. "First go learn how to say your co star's name and then you can flirt with her!"

"No, Aloo!" Priyanka exclaimed, whacking the back of Alia's head scoldingly. "Vin doesn't have the right to flirt with her! She's married!"

"Right, I forgot," Alia remembered.

"You forgot she's married?!"

"Girls, calm down!" Deepika exclaimed.

Alia crossed her arms. "No, DP. Not until this nincompoop leaves with his green feathers and his strawberry shorts. Also, fly's open!"

Vin looked down and saw that his lungi was sliding- it was threatening to fall any moment. He hurriedly turned and tucked it back in, and quickly turned back to them. "There. Better."

"No!" Alia exclaimed. "You still look balder than a bald eagle!"

Priyanka leaned in. "Aloo, bald eagles aren't bald," she whispered.

"Then why are they called bald eagles?" Alia whispered back. Vin seemed amused by Alia's stupidity on the subject.

"Priyanka, Alia, I need to have a word with you two," Deepika said sternly. "Please excuse us for just one second, Vin."

"Make sure you discipline them," Vin ordered. "They can't be talking to every guest this way."

"It's not every guest!" Alia spat. "It's just you!"

"Alia!"

"Okay, DP, okay," Alia gave in, allowing Deepika to pull her and Priyanka to the side.

As soon as they were out of Vin's hearing range, Deepika turned to her friends. "What is wrong with you two?!"

"What's wrong with us?" Alia repeated skeptically. "What's wrong with him?!"

"There's nothing wrong with Vin, so quit your yapping," Deepika scolded.

"There isn't?" Priyanka asked. "Well then, why is he flirting with you as if you were a single woman? You're married! He knows you're married, and yet he's still trying to get you to cheat on Ranu!"

"What?!" Deepika exclaimed. "What are you talking about?!"

"You really are oblivious, DP," Alia sighed, shaking her head. "Vin is clearly trying to impress you, to make you take a liking to him. He wants to hug you, kiss you, date you, marry you, have kids with you- ugh!" She shivered visibly.

"Okay, Aloo, let's not get too carried away," Priyanka told her. "But she's right, Di. Vin doesn't care if you're married. All I know is, I won't allow anyone to cheat on my Ranu! Even if it's you!"

"Your Ranu?" Deepika repeated.

"What? He's like my little brother! Way better than my real little brother, but I still love them both equally. And I'd say I'm like his second older sister, after Rithi of course."

"When did you meet Ritika?" Deepika asked. "Are you two that close?"

"Yes!" Priyanka answered enthusiastically.

"Anyway, I'd never cheat on Veer, you know that," Deepika assured them. "No matter if it's Vin, Hrithik, Shahid, Ranbir, I don't care. And besides, Ranbir loves Alia anyway, so I don't know why I even said his name."

"Thank you, DP," Alia said, relieved.

"Of course, Aloo."

"I don't care what you say, though, DP," Alia said stubbornly. "I'm going to teach Vin a lesson. Once and for all!"
