AUTHOR'S P.O.V
RATHORE'S MANSION :
It was late in the night and she was waiting impatiently in the bedroom to talk to him as they hadn't met for so many years.
"Hey Bholenath, main kya karu? Mera dil bohot zor se dhadak raha hai. Jab yeh aayenge main unse kya kahungi?" (Hey Bholenath, what should I do? My heart is beating really fast. What will i say to him when he will come inside)
She said getting anxious and excited at the same time.
As she was talking to herself, the door of the bedroom opened and her husband walked in.
When her eyes landed on him, she was smiling at him but the next moment her smile dropped and she got scared when he took the vase from the nearest table and smashed it on the floor breaking it into a hundred pieces.
"Maan yeh aap kya kar rahe hain?" ("What are you doing, Maan?")
She asked, getting scared.
"Mera naam apni iss gandi zubaan se maat lo tum". ("Don't take my name from your dirty tongue".)
He spoke in an angry voice, his face turning red with rage.
"Aap aisa kyu bol rahe hain maan, aap humein bhool gaye kya?" (Why are you saying like that maan, did you forget me"?)
She asked in a crying voice.
"Main bhala tumhe kyu yaad rakhunga? Main toh tumhe janta bhi nahi?" (Why would I remember you? I don't even know you)
He said angrily, breaking her heart into pieces.
"Lekin maan meri baat ......" ("But maan listen....")
Before she could finish her words, a voice cut in with rage ...
"Meri baat dhyan se sun lo tum, merse tumhari shadi toh ho gayi hai lekin pyaar ki umeed mat rakhna.....SAMJHI?" ("Listen to me carefully, we're married now, but don't expect love from me... UNDERSTAND?")
She was so shocked and hurt by his behavior that no words came out of her mouth.
After saying all those hurtful words, he turned around, threw his "sehra" on the floor, and stormed out of the room angrily, leaving her completely broken.
After he was gone, she fell to her knees, and the tears she had been holding back flowed freely.
"Hey bholenath, yeh kya ho gaya?" ("Hey Bholenath, what has happened?)
