One

I sat in my room painting my nails when I get a phone call

I sigh picking it up and holding the phone between my shoulder and chin

"Hello" I said into the phone "Hey, uh Ange, I need to tell you something" the voice of Lyle Menendez speaks shakily through the phone

I could barely hear due to the fact that my radio was blasting

"Yeah what's up" I questioned, he said something and it cut out "what?" I asked "you heard me" he said "no I didn't what'd you say?" I replied

"Are you serious Angela" he asked "oh my god just repea-" I started "we just killed our parents" he said quietly into the phone

"What" I said this time in utter shock of the words that he just spoke to me, my face was white and I didn't know what to do

"How many fuc-" he started but I cut him off this time "I heard you, I just.. don't know what to say" I replied shakily

"Can you come over?" He asked me "are you crazy?! Hell no! I am not in no way coming to your fucking house after you just admitted to murder" I whispered the last part as if I wasn't home alone

"Please Ange, we need you, I need you" he said "Lyle there is no way-"I started "fine then we're coming there" he said "no! I'll meet you somewhere" I said "ok.. ok the movies" he said "leave now" he told me sternly and I nodded as if he could see me

He hung up and I shakily did too before grabbing my keys and leaving

I drove to the movie theatre and waited to see one of their cars

I see Erik's car pull up across the street and the two boys get out

I sighed and got out too, they both walked over to me

Lyle looked normal like nothing happened and Erik looked like he was about to throw up

I didn't know how to feel, I think I know why they did it but I'm not sure

"Let's go in" Lyle says looking at the concession stand I sighed and the three of us walked up to the girl in her booth

"Can we see the 9:50 screening of Batman please" I asked and the girl looked at us with a dull look "no, you can't" she shook her head I scoffed "yeah and whys that" I questioned "its company policy" she said again completely monotoned "are you having trouble hearing her?! The 9:50 screening of Batman!" Lyle yelled "yeah but it's 10:40 now" she told us

"I know but that's the one we wanna see! Can you help me out here?" Lyle asks "my girlfriend is in there" Lyle adds

Him and Jamie broke up like two months ago

Erik turns to us and says "tell her the last half is the best" then he turns to the girl "we heard the first half sucks, and, uh, that it ruins the rest of it, so um, we just.. we wanna see the last half" he spoke nervously and fast

I sighed looking at him subtly rubbing his back trying to calm his nerves

"Like I said it's theatre policy. We can't sell tickets after 15 minutes" she repeated

Lyle smacked the desk before turning around and yelling "ok, fine, fuck!" And Erik looked down and whispered "fuck" under his breath

"Please stop swearing at me" the girl said looking at Lyle "ok, ok give me three tickets for the fucking 10:55 I guess" Lyle said out of breath and panicked giving her the money

"Lyl-" I started but he shushed me making me roll my eyes  she printed the tickets and all three of us were already fed up " slower please" Lyle says sarcastically and the girl ignored him

"Thanks" Lyle says taking the tickets and the three of us started walking "enjoy the show" the girl said as we walked away

"Lyle you fucking idiot! Those are fucking useless those are for fifteen minutes from now and that's about what half an hour after your parents died" I whispered shouted at him and he stopped walking "fuck!" He yelled yet again

"Ok,ok.. uh let's just go to taste of LA"  Lyle said ripping the tickets walking across the street to Erik's car

"You guys fucking coming or what!" Lyle yelled from the car "I'll just follow you" I said not wanting to get in the car with Lyle right now "can I come with you?" Erik asked me "yeah" I nodded and he got in quickly

"I hate when he acts like that" I shook my head following Lyle "he's always like that" Erik sighed "and I hate it" I replied and it was silent for a while after that

"Are you scared of us?" He asked me "no, I'm just.. shocked, I never thought you'd go through with something like this" I answered "I know you wouldn't do that to me so I'm not scared of you guys" I looked over at him briefly and he had a face that looked dark

"Wait.. would you" I looked back at him again quickly

"No! Of course we'd never do that to you" he told me

I didn't wanna talk about it with him right now, it's still fresh and Erik's a little sensitive so I don't want him to start freaking out more than he already is

We got there and started trying different cheeses and wines, well, me and Lyle were

Erik looked around for someone very nervously I may add

"Mm wow, oh wow" Lyle said eating a cheese "let's just go, you have an alibi already" I whispered completely bored wanting to go home "yeah and what's that" Lyle asked "me!" I exclaimed back

"You'd lie for us" Erik's head snapped to me "well I am with you on August 20th, I mean I could bend the truth a little about the time" I told them "perfect Lyle let's go" Erik says anxiously

"No, Im enjoying some fine wine and some fine cheese. Just Angela isn't enough Erik now relax you look like you did something" Lyle tells him "that's because we did" Erik snaps back in a hushed tone

Again I rubbed Erik's back trying to comfort him

"You know, we've been here what four hours now" Lyle exclaimed the ending so people heard "you know what they say, time flies when you're at the taste!" He exclaims to the lady working

"Let's go" I huffed grabbing Erik's arm pulling him out with me, I hear Lyle huff thanking the staff before he came with us

"Great, we were there what 20 minutes" he gets mad at me "I'll lie I don't care I wanna go home" I huffed walking fast still holding onto Erik

"Ange" Lyle called trailing behind "Angela!" He yelled and I stopped turning around "why are you so upset?" He asked me "'cause you dragged me into this and now I'm stuck, and all night you've been yelling and causing a big fuckin scene making yourself look like a maniac, you know, I could say that I was with Erik all night and I didn't see you at all, so keep yelling at me and see what happens" I got up in his face very annoyed

"I'm sorry, ok. Sorry" he says his face softening "its fine I know your stressed, both of you are. I just need to go home" I sighed turning back around walking to my car without either of the brothers

They both followed "Angela" Erik said once I got to my car and the got to their in front of mine "thank you" he said "whatever you need I'm here" I told them before getting into my car and they got into theirs

I drove home and waited to hear from them again, probably tomorrow
