Chapter 3: I Don't Wanna Do This Alone.

Dipper had been walking for what felt like ages until he had to run away and hide from an eye bat nearby. He hid behind an abandoned building and held his breath and stayed as still as possible. When it flew away, he let out a sigh of relief. That's when he heard a noise from a bush nearby.

Dipper inched closer with his golf club in hand, slowly and carefully. He gently poked the bush and that's when..

"Huh? Who's there!" Wendy's head popped out from the bush.

"Oh my god.. W-Wendy? Is it really you?"

"Dipper! Are you okay?"

Dipper didn't reply, he dropped his club, ran towards her and gave her a tight hug. "I didn't know where you were and I was so scared and I don't know where everyone else is and-"

"Woah, woah, woah, slow down man. First, tell me what happened, where were you?"

"I'm.. Not sure. One moment I was facing Bill with Grunkle Ford and the next I was in some sort of bubble? Luckily I made my way out of it and I found you." Dipper stepped away from her to fix his hat and to look around. "Where.. Is everyone?"

"I don't know. My guess is in the Fearamid but there's no way we can get up there, and I can't find where Stan or Mabel is."

"I think I might know!" Dipper then pointed to the bubbles with the symbols on them.

"Oh wow.. Do you think you might've been in one of those?"

"Maybe. I think it was something made by Bill, but why? Why specifically Me, Mabel, and Stan? Why not Grunkle Ford?" Dipper gasped, "He probably still has him captured! Oh my god I hope he's okay.."

Wendy put her hand on his shoulder, "Chill out man, we're gonna get Mabel, Stan, and Ford back. For now we need to think of what we need to do first.."

There was a moment of silence between them, this time, it was comforting. Dipper didn't feel like he was in danger knowing this was real.

"We need to save Mabel first. If we get her back she can help us save Stan and then all four of us combined can get Ford back."

"Then let's go get her." Wendy smiled at him and they began to walk towards where Mabel's bubble was.

They had walked a decent amount before hearing something coming from behind them.

Dipper stopped walking for a moment, "Hey, do you hear that?"

Wendy looked at him, then around them. Her expression went from relaxed to shocked in a matter of seconds. "Oh god, QUICK MOVE!" Wendy quickly jumped at Dipper to shove him out of the way as a car sped right by them. Soon enough, they were surrounded by about 5 or 6 cars.

"What the.." Dipper looked at the cars around them then looked at the familiar figure standing on top of the car in front of them. "Who is.."

"Not another word from yall!"

"Wait.. GIDEON?!"

"I JUST SAID NOT ANOTHER WORD!"

Dipper rolled his eyes and kept his mouth shut as Gideon continued to speak.

"I heard y'all were trying to get to Mabel and Stan's bubbles ay?? Well, NOT ON MY WATCH!" Gideon let out an obnoxious laugh which gave both Dipper and Wendy second hand embarrassment. "Yall aren't even able to access those bubbles if you wanted. You need a key."

Dipper looked at Gideon confused, "A key?"

"Don't you see the giant lock on them??"

Dipper hadn't seen them until Gideon pointed it out just now, how did he not notice? "N-no.."

"Anyway, you need a key. This key!" Gideon showed off the key hanging around his neck, it had a shooting star on it. "This key is to Mabel's bubble."

"Where's the one to Stan's bubble?"

"I'm not entirely sure, Mabel has it from what I was told."

Dipper and Wendy gave each other a look of disappointment, not thinking Gideon would've told them that easily where the keys were and how to find them.

There was a minute of silence before Wendy thought of an idea.

"Hey Gideon?"

"What?" He gave her an annoyed look.

"You have something in your hair."

"What? No, no, no, no.. Ghost Eyes I need a mirror STAT!"

Wendy then took the opportunity to run up to him and snatch the key from his neck "Hurry let's get out of here!" She grabbed Dipper's arm and dragged him to one of the cars surrounding them. She threw one of the guys out of the car and they both got in and drove away as fast as they could.

"WHAT?! NO, NO, NO! DO NOT LET THEM GET AWAY!" Cars began to rush toward Dipper and Wendy.

Gideon used a microphone in the car he was in with Ghost Eyes, "GO AS FAST AS YOU CAN, WE CANNOT LET THEM REACH THOSE BUBBLES!"

Dipper looked back to see Gideon and his gang speeding up, "Oh no, no, no.. Can't this car go any faster?"

"I don't think so.." Dipper and Wendy both screamed when one of the cars tried to run into them, almost causing them to crash. "Dipper, do you think you'll be able to save Mabel by yourself? I don't think we're gonna get rid of these guys anytime soon.."

"I.. I don't know. But I'll try. I'll do whatever it takes to save my sister!"

"That's the spirit!" Wendy smiled at him then swerved out of the way to avoid a bubble of pure madness. "Alright dude, get ready to jump out!" She shoved the key in his hand then focused on the road again.

Dipper took a deep breath and held the key tight in his hand.

"Ready?"

Before Dipper could respond she shouted, "NOW!"

Dipper jumped out of the window of the car and landed hard on the ground. He watched as Wendy drove away with the other cars following behind her.

Dipper groaned in pain. He slowly got up and brushed himself off and began walking toward Mabel's bubble.

Once he was in front of Mabel's bubble, he looked at the key in his hand and held it tight before unlocking the lock.

"Alright.. Let's do this." He said as he entered the bubble.
