Chapter 4: I Can't Trust You.

Dipper rubbed his eyes when he entered the bubble and looked around. There was nothing around him.. Just a white void for what seemed like miles.

"Mabel? Mabel! Mabel, where are you!" He shouted then felt the ground beneath him behind to crack. He looked down, shocked. The cracks were.. Rainbow? The ground then broke, causing him to fall. He screamed, unsure of when he was going to hit the ground.

"OOF!"

He then landed on a.. Bouncy castle?

"What the.."

Dipper got up, brushed himself off, then opened the door behind him. Inside was an entire world, colorful and magical.

"Yup she's definitely here.." He said to himself and sighed.

Xyler and Craz then appeared in front of him. "Woaaahhh what's up!! Welcome to Mabeland!" Craz said, putting his glasses on his head.

"Mabeland?"

"Yeah dude this is like the best place on earth! Wanna go on a tour?"

"Uh well-"

"Alright let's go!"

"Hey wai- GAH!" Craz and Xyler pulled him into a car and began to drive around Mabeland, showing him around.

"What was the point in asking me if they were gonna show me around anyway??" Dipper thought to himself and rolled his eyes.

After a VERY bumpy ride and a loong tour, they finally came to a stop. "So that's about everything there is to see here!" Xyler said, "Any questions?"

"Uh, do you know where I might be able to find Mabel?"

"Yeah! You see that super tall tower?" Craz pointed to the excessively tall tower in the distance, "She's in there!"

"Could you take me there?"

"Hang on bro!" Xyler said as he pressed hard on the gas, causing the car to bolt forward. Dipper held on the best he could, trying not to fall out because the car didn't have any seat belts.

Once they got there, Dipper thanked them for the ride, even though he felt as if he was going to fall over and die at that exact moment. He then quietly but quickly entered the tower when the waffle guards were distracted. He slowly ascended the stairs to Mabel's room. He took a deep breath and opened the door to see Mabel sitting at a desk, drawing and humming a song he didn't recognize.

"M-Mabel..?"

Mabel looked up from what she was doing, "Dipper? What are you doing here?"

"Oh my god you're okay! Thank God you're okay, I was so worried but now you're here in front of me and.." He paused to take deep breaths. "Sorry I'm a little.. Out of breath."

Mabel got up and walked over to him, "Hey, chill out bro bro! Also of course I'm safe, why wouldn't I be?"

"Mabel, Listen. Gravity Falls is in danger. I was trapped in a prison bubble like this one but I found my way out of it. We need to go save Grunkle Ford, Stan, and everyone else before Bill does anything else crazy!"

"What?" Mabel chuckled, "This isn't a prison bubble, I made this world! It's not dangerous."

Dipper placed his hands firmly on Mabel's shoulders. "You're not listening! We need to go save everyone Mabel!"

"Uhh.. No? Everyone is fine. Plus if the town is in danger why would we wanna be out there when we're safe here!"

"No Mabel we're not! We can't stay here, we'll get stuck in here forever!" He spat out, obviously very frustrated.

Mabel rolled her eyes and shoved Dipper's hands off her shoulders. "I figured you'd say that.. That's why I have a backup Dipper that isn't as crazy as you! And also he showers and washes his clothes.."

Dippy Fresh then came from around the corner on his skateboard, he did a trick and landed infront of them. He gave a high-five to Mabel and then reached out to give a high-five to Dipper.

"No." Dipper narrowed his eyes at him.

"Whatever dude broooo!! Anyway, what's up!"

"Can you please tell this Dipper that he's being CRAZY and that Gravity Falls is not in trouble?"

"You're being totally crazy dude. Gravity Falls is fine and you're totally overreacting!"

"Nice!" Mabel high-fived Dippy Fresh and he skateboarded away. "Okay but seriously, you're being dramatic. Everything is fine, why not stay here and relax for a while? Mabeland always provides and-"

"NO! I'm not gonna sit here and relax while everyone is in danger! Why aren't you listening to me?"

Mabel paused and her expression became more serious. "Maybe I'm not listening to you because I'm actually happy here and I don't wanna leave."

"What? Why not?"

"Did you seriously forget..? You were gonna ditch me at the end of the summer, Dipper. Just to be Ford's stupid apprentice! I don't wanna leave because If I do then you'll leave me and I'll be in California all alone."

"Mabel.."

"How am I supposed to trust you when you went behind my back like that? You didn't even tell me first before you accepted. You didn't even consider what life was gonna be like without me!" Tears rushed to Mabel's eyes.

"That opportunity only comes once in a lifetime, Mabel. I couldn't just say no. That apprenticeship could change our lives for the better!"

"Yeah, maybe your life but not mine. I can't grow up without you, Dipper. Do you seriously wanna grow up without me?"

"Why don't you look at it from my perspective? Maybe then-"

Mabel pushed him, "Why don't you look at it from MY perspective?"

"Ow! Hey don't push me!"

"WHY CAN'T YOU LISTEN TO ME FOR ONCE DIPPER?!" Tears were streaming down Mabel's face at this point. "I WAS HAVING THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE AND YOU ONLY MADE IT WORSE BY SAYING YOU WERE GONNA DITCH ME. YOU WEREN'T LISTENING TO ME SO NOW IM NOT LISTENING TO YOU! GET OUT!"

"W-What..? Mabel.."

"I said get out, Dipper."

"Mabel we can ta-"

"GUARDS!" Mabel snapped her fingers and the same two waffle guards from earlier barged in and grabbed Dipper.

"Whuh? Hey! NO! GET OFF OF ME! MABEL!!" The guards dragged him out of the tower and threw him outside. "GAH!" Dipper said as he hit the ground. "No, no, no, no.. What am I supposed to do now.."
