"So cold..."
Kara whispered as she walked through the snow, The snow reaching her knees. "Riggs? Are you up there?" She yelled and crawled up the ladder. Her gloved-hands sticking to the snowy wooden beams. "Riggs?" She asked once again and looked around. "He mustn't be here today. Maybe he got sick? I'm super late.. so..." she sighed and crawled down the ladder.

"He has not been here the past four days... I'll go to his house and make sure he is alright." Kaya said as she walked out the door. She ran up her driveway and walked up the road.

"Good morning, Ms. Riggs's Mom!~ is Riggs at home?" Kaya clapped her hands together. But she heard sniffling in front of her. "Riggs has... disappeared.... He left a note in his room... we don't know where he is..." His mom said and handed the note to her. "...he is... gone?" Kaya felt her body tense up as she read the note.

"He is gone." Kaya repeated as tears streamed down her face. She Immediately ran back towards her house, gripping the note in her hand.
"STUPID RIGGS!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN ME WITH YOU!!!" she rubbed the tears off of her cheeks and kept running.
"Oomph—" she stumbled over a log, and fell face first in the snow. "Stupid... stupid... dammit!" Kaya cursed under her breath, her tears freezing in the snow.

Her dad knocked on the door. "Kaya? Can you come out of your room for dinner this time? You haven't left your room in two days." He mumbled and put his back on the wall. "I don't want to." Kaya said in a monotone-type voice. "I need to try and find Riggs..." Her dad huffed. "Damn.... Kaya. I know you care about him. But... you need to leave your room. We miss him too. But you can take a break from that stuff."
"I need to find him."
She stated again and plopped down onto her bed, like a child who didn't get the toy they wanted at the store. "...fine. Your dinner is outside the door." Her dad walked away and rubbed his face.
"..." Kaya started to tear up again. Her soft, and warm tears being absorbed into the bedsheet. "Stupid... stupid...." She glanced at her door, and saw the plate of food.

"..."
Kaya bit into the small chunk of chicken as she started writing in her diary.

"Hiiii, Kaya! You look so down! What's wrong?" Estelle asked Kaya as they walked together. "That stupid idiot named Riggs hasn't been seen in two days...." Kaya whispered and gripped the straps on her book bag tighter. "Is he... missing?" She mumbled and slowed down. "I... I don't know." Kaya admitted.
"I once had a friend, who's little brother ran away from home. When they found him.. he was just at a friends house. Perhaps Riggs is at one of his friends houses'?" Estelle muttered while she sped up a bit. Kaya sighed. "I already asked his mom... no one he knows has seen him..." she mumbled and kicked a rock. "At least tomorrow is the start of the weekend! So now, I can easily hunt him down." Kaya smiled a little.

I want my stupid first love to be fulfilled.

People will think I'm dumb for loving a guy at my age. But I'm not doing it for attention.
That's all that matters.
