"What the hell do you think you're doing with my daughter?!" he shouted.
"Sir," Cragen says, "if you would be so kind to come with me, I'm sure I can answer all of your questions."
"Hell no I'm not going with you! I demand to see my daughter NOW!!" At that moment, Samantha's dad bursted into a terrible rage and starts throwing everything he sees in sight. Chairs, pencils, and we stopped him before he threw one of our witnesses for next week trial.
In the back all I hear are the soft whimpers of Samantha and her trying to escape this horrible reality that she has to live with. All of a sudden I take out one of the new shipments of tazer guns and stun the shit out of this man.
"Don't you ever come near this sweet little girl again." He laid there shaking in shock, mixing his words together like he had just been shocked. No big deal, I just stunned him enough for me to grab Samantha and get the hell out of there.
"Go, get her out of here and I'll call you when it's safe to come back," Cragen shouts as he calls a bus and the cops. "and take good care of this girl." I put my jacket over her head and cover her as I hear the local news vans pull up and start unloading.
"Let's go out the back way." I said. I turn her towards the back door and get her into the nearest taxi I could hail. We rush in and head towards my apartment.
"When can I see my dad, I'm worried about him." Samantha says, as she takes her head out of my jacket.
"Hopefully not for a long time." I said. We push through traffic, hoping that we can get home safely.
