I sighed as I looked at Astro's way, then my gaze coming back to Shelly as i heard a playful bark. I saw her playing with Pebble but I couldn't help but smile, of course I had to turn away also.
Elevator door opens.
Andd, another floor arises. I decided to follow Astro since he's alone right now. Guess this is the perfect opportunity to get closer to him! I smiled at myself before fixing my bow tie and catching up with Astro.
"Hey Astro! What are you up to?" I asked with a genuine and warm smile. "Finding a machine. Like you should be doing right now, Vee." He responded with his hoarse voice, making my smile fade a little.
"Well alright, see you on the elevator!" I said with a flushed face and my usual cheeky smile. That interaction did not go completely as I planned, I think I kind of humiliated myself back there.
I heard a faint giggle on which made me raise an eyebrow. Who could that be? Eh, doesn't matter. I'll just stick to what Astro told me.
I walked and walked..and to my luck, there was no machines. Until then, I heard the alarm blaring quickly in which made me jump. Oh no. I lost my way.
I ran around the hallways, my screen displaying a bead of sweat. Then..I heard a voice. "Vee! Over here!" A familiar voice yelled, I looked at the timer and there were still 11 seconds left to spare.
Out of desperation I ran to the voice, my stamina running low quickly. I looked at the timer again. 5 seconds was left.
Was this..my end?
I kept on running since I was desperate to survive. Gladly, I made it back. A freaking milisecond left to spare! Hence maybe a nanosecond.
Noone paid attention to me. They all paid attention to Shelly..who supposedly got hurt again. Maybe she's just getting hurt on purpose since she's an attention seeker.
I huffed and crossed my arms until i heard footsteps. "Vee you're okay!" Someone yelled, happiness and excitement evidently clear in their voice.
I turned my head and saw Shelly running my direction to give me a hug. I backed away out of pure spite, she's just getting all the attention right? She's doing this because she feels bad for me.
"Vee?" Shelly responded, a hint of sorrow in her voice as her words trailed off into the elevator. "What do you want." I snarled, my tail wagging annoyingly.
Before I got even angrier Dandy supposedly appeared which calmed me down a bit. I glanced at Astro who gave Dandy some tapes. Maybe the shop was good?

What could this man be possibly selling! It's like he's trying his best to hide all those secret healing items in that basement of his.
Dandy descended with his typical smile since someone bought from him. I kind of despised Dandy for a reason, he can help us but he doesn't.
I saw Astro coming my way, shoot! Act fast, act fast! I quickly fixed my bowtie and fixed my posture and stood up straight. Waving my hand at him.
He quickly signalled me to put down my hands and I did, hoping not to embarrass myself again. "Vee, you need to work on your emotions." He said seriously, making my smile drop.
"Huh? What do you mean? My emotions are completely fine!" I said while scoffing, trying to look cool infront of him. He shot me an annoyed look. Maybe that was a bad idea.
"Why did you treat Shelly like that?" He asked, his gaze fixating onto Shelly then onto me, back and forth. He was pointing at her.
"Pfft! That attention seeker?" I replied, using my thumb to point at her. "Vee, you do realize she got hurt because she called out for you." He said,
Elevator door opens.
then the elevator doors open. "I'll check on you later." He said, disappearing once again.
Was I really that rough on Shelly? Only to realize she got hurt by me?
I guess I'll focus on that later..
