Rain POV

I was looking at the list of assignments from university that need to be completed before the Luna Ceremony. All these need to be completed before the semester breaks plus I need to attend the alpha session with the Elders to ensure I was ready enough to takeover our pack.

Don't misunderstand, I am already the Alpha of this pack, its just with so many things happened at the same time, My Dad (Former Alpha) is still helping me with the Pack's affairs and I fully let my Mother (Former Luna) to handle the Luna Ceremony.

'Is everything alright Alpha?'

I turn to look my childhood buddy, Sai. We were practically known each other since birth and been together since. His parent are the Former Male and Female Beta, which now the title had been passed to him, which means he is my Beta (Second in Command).

'Nothing. Just trying to catch up with all the assignments and our pack duties' - Rain

'Hey, don't worry Alpha. We got this' - Sai

'Sai.. I told you to stop calling me Alpha when there is just us here. And that's apply to all of you' - Rain

I said that while looking at them. Suddenly all eyes are looking at me.

'Nope'

'Can't do it'

'We can't'

All of them replied at the same time. I rolled my eyes at them.

'We have promised to the Elders and make an oath to protect and serve you as soon as you took your role as our Alpha.'

That is my Gamma (Third in command), James and my Delta (Chief Warrior), Sig is nodding beside him.

'We all have been together since kindergarten. Why the hell can't you guys called me by my name' - Rain

'Rain, we are your friends, but you can't deny the fact that you are our Alpha and we have to respect that title of yours' - Sai

'I know guys and I'm sorry. Its just that all of this come at the same time but I glad that all three of you are going to be with me' - Rain

They all just smile at me and how can I deny that one of the reason I'm able to handle of these are because of them. My Pack members.

'Thank God that Former Luna is the one handling the Luna Ceremony. And speaking of that, have you take a look at the list of the potential candidates to become your Luna. I have provided all their details and photos on your table' - James

'Not yet. I think i will choose during the night itself. Just follow my gut' - Rain

'Or you can just choose Ple. You know that she is one of the candidates right. She's from our pack and have been our gang since middle school'- James

Maybe I should. I mean I already knew her and it is easier for her to get close to our pack member as Luna. We have never dated or anything but I never been close to other girls except Ple.

Well, basically Luna ceremony is when a new Alpha takes the role, it is advisable for him to choose a Luna to strengthen his position. Behind every successful man, there is a woman is what they said,

'Do you guys believed in Fate mate?' - Rain

'Do you? All these while, it is just a myth that been told by old folks and in the history books. That why we have the Luna Ceremony where an Alpha may choose any candidates that they feel suitable to be their Luna and to rule the pack with him ' - Sai

'Or maybe you can rule by yourself like what Alpha King has been doing now' - Sig
