Phayu POV

'Varain'

I was still looking at the invitation letter for God's knew how many times. Sometimes I wasn't even reading it, kinda just staring at it. What is wrong with me. I can't describe what feeling that I have.

Since i read the letter for the first time, I felt my heart kept beating loudly and there's a butterfly effect in my stomach. I felt happy, scared, excited and nervous at the same time. Is it a good or bad intuition?

Now I'm on my way to the Moon Pack and to stay there for a month. I bring my PA, New and my Beta, Pai together with me and I left my pack under the care of my twin, Saifah which is also my Gamma and my Delta, Forth. Both of them will join us few days before the Alpha and Luna ceremony.

I still remember the meeting with the Royal Cabinets few days ago when I decided to accept the invitation from Moon Pack.

~Flashback~

'Your Highness. Do you really have to stay in the Moon Pack for that long. Can't you just attend the ceremony' - One of the Elders

(Haaa... Here it goes again). I said that in my mind while listening to them. I take a look at New and he just staring while silently pleading to me not to create a scene.

'I know that all of you are worried as I will lived in a strange land for quite some time and leaving our pack' - Phayu

'But I was personally invited by the Former Alpha from Moon Pack and as far as I know, he is a friend of my father and they are quite close. So it is inappropriate for me to decline the offer' - Phayu

They seem trying to think how to stop me from going there. Ohh trust me, I dare if they can.

'And also, it is also your responsibility right to ensure I able to find my Luna. Who knows if I able to meet him/her at the ceremonies. - Phayu

Now I can see they wavering after hearing my reasoning. Well Phayu-1, Elders -0 (Smirk)

'Dont worry, Saifah and Forth will be here to handle the pack during my absence and if anything urgent come up, I will be coming home immediately' - Phayu

With that, I leave no room for discussion.

'What are you thinking, Cousin' - Pai

I've stopped my reminiscence once I heard Pai's voice.

'Nothing. Just here and there' - Phayu

'Are you excited to meet the New Alpha. I've never seen him before. Usually the Alphas will be bring their soon to be Alpha during the Alpha's meeting, however, I never once seen this new Alpha' - Pai

'Me either. I almost thought that the Former Alpha doesn't have a son' - Phayu

I then looked at New. Trying to snitch an information without being seen.

'New, what do we know about this young Alpha?' - Phayu

'As far as I know, Alpha Varain has never step out of his pack. He rarely attend any formal meeting and mostly being represented by his father.' - New

'But I heard he was loved by his pack with his humble, kind personality and well respected by his people.' - New

'Well, that could be just a rumours. How can an alpha never an appearance in public. It's either he is super ugly or a softies' - Pai

Before I able to voice my opinion, suddenly, I smell a faint of vanilla and peach. The sweet smell make me wanna close my eyes and keep breathing in that scent.
