Ch- 1 First Meet

💫Ishika's Pov

"Ishika, get up right now, Its your first day of college, you dont want to be late" anna screamed in my ears. "Oh my god, nayi(dog in kannada) I woke up see" I replied.

I quickly got off my bed and got ready for the day, I styled a blue and white kurti with wide leg jeans, put my hair up in a ponytail, moisturized my skin and put a bindi on my forehead.

I took my bag and went down to the dining hall and wished everyone. My dad and my brothers were having their breakfast. No No No, amma made uppitu(upma). "Ammaaaa, kya Hein ye, beda thindi" (Mom, what is this, I don't want breakfast) I screamed.

"Ishi shut up and eat yaa phir gale mein baandh dungi"(I'll tie it to your neck) Mom threatened. I ate my breakfast silently. After a while around 8.30 I left my house in my scooter after bidding everyone bye.

Once I reached the college which is BMS College Basavangudi, I was about to call my Bestie Shukti to check on her, when I heard someone scream my name. "Ishikaaaaa!!", I turned around to see Shukti, a girl about 5"4, with dark brown hair all riled up in jeans and a hot top with leather jacket. I've known her since 1st grade cuz we used to go to same school and we've besties since then.

I went to her and we started walking towards our auditorium for the "orientation", boring as hell.

"I've heard that there's some hot new guy in here for 2nd year of Engineering" She said. " Haa hoga koi amir baap ka bigda aulad" I stated stereotypically.

"Kaalu haklava nee?(K-Won't you try to impress him), I'm reserving him for you and going with the other hot seniors, theek hai?(okay?)" she said being the flirt of our group.

"Meh, you know what happened last time I did that right? I dont want all those things again" I said trying not to remember that douchebag of a boyfriend I had in my PUC(its like 11 and 12 but, kinda different as its state board).

We reached the auditorium and passed our time throughout the boring orientation.

Then we went to our first class of the day, we sat in the last but 1 bench. Few minutes later a short bubbly girl about 5"3 entered our class blabbering loudly about "Friends", woahh ur my friend now lady, she sat behind us with those 2 guys and I took this as an opportunity to talk to her.

"Heyy, I'm Ishika, and this is Shukti" I introduced, she turned to me and introduced herself "I'm Shreya, this is my boyfriend Dhruv and this is our bestie Samarth." She said pointing at those 2 tall boys, one with messy brown hair and other with black set up hair. Samarth and Shukti were having an eye contact and I could see that he might start liking her, ahh poor guy.

The professor then came in and introduced himself and asked us to do the same.

Just like that it was lunch break, all 5 of us went to the cafeteria to have our lunch and ordered our food. We then found a table and sat down to eat. I was looking at my sandwich and juice lovingly when I heard a squeaky voice.

"Hey hotties, I'm Aanya" a girl who was wearing very inappropriate clothes for college with light brown hair said to Dhruv and Samart, tucking her hair and bending forward to showcase her cleavage, so I guess this might be the bitch of our batch, oh wait there are 2 more, more like her minions, I thought when I saw other 2 girls who were standing behind her and looking at those boys. "I'm Riya" the shorter one with brown highlights said, "I'm Nitya" the one in more revealing and shiny clothes said.

"Back off girl, he's taken" Shreya said more like scowled."Uhh, whatever, I can be a way better bed warmer than you but anyways what bout you?" She continued flirting with Samarth, while we just ignored her. I saw Shukti being kinda jealous. "hmm, jelly baby? huh?" I teased her, "Nah, you know I dont like boys, it's just casual relationships, I was just looking at him why the hell would I be jealous" She defended. "Sure, whatever helps you sleep" I said, by the time the bitches had  left.
