As the first snowflakes of December began to drift down over New York City, the holiday spirit infused the air with magic. Inside their cozy apartment, Taylor had transformed the space into a festive haven: a beautifully adorned Christmas tree sparkled with lights and ornaments, stockings hung by the fireplace, and the sweet aroma of gingerbread cookies filled the kitchen.

It was Christmas Eve, and the warmth of the season wrapped around her like a favorite sweater. Taylor stood by the kitchen counter, stirring a pot of hot cocoa, a festive playlist humming in the background. She glanced out the window, watching the snow collect on the city streets, her heart brimming with anticipation for the evening ahead.

Travis walked in, his cheeks rosy from the cold. He carried a box of freshly baked cookies, his eyes lighting up when he saw Taylor. "Hey, Christmas angel! What's cooking?"

"Just some hot cocoa to warm us up. How do you feel about decorating cookies?" Taylor replied, a playful smile dancing on her lips.

"Oh, I'm definitely in! But I have a feeling I might need some help to beat you this year," he said, flashing a charming grin as he leaned against the counter.

Taylor laughed, leaning closer to him. "I might let you win if you promise to share some of your secret decorating tips."

Travis stepped in, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer. "You've got a deal. But I'm not going easy on you!"

The evening unfolded with joy and laughter, their friends arriving to join in the festivities. They exchanged gifts, shared stories, and indulged in an array of holiday treats. As the night wore on, Taylor could feel a special energy in the air, a sense of something wonderful waiting to happen.

Later, as the festivities settled down, Travis took Taylor's hand, guiding her to the balcony that overlooked the glistening city. The snow blanketed the streets below, and the city lights twinkled like stars against the dark sky.

"It's so beautiful out here," Taylor said, shivering slightly in the chilly air.

"Just like you," Travis said, turning to her with an intensity that made her heart skip a beat.

"Travis, what's going on?" she asked, sensing the shift in the atmosphere.

He took a deep breath, a mixture of nerves and excitement in his eyes. "Taylor, this year has been one of the best of my life. Being with you has changed everything for me. You bring so much joy, laughter, and love into my world, and I can't imagine my life without you. Since the first time i put my eyes on you, seventeen years ago, i knew i would never be the same"

Taylor's heart raced as she listened, her stomach fluttering with anticipation.

"I know we've had so many adventures together, but I want to embark on the greatest adventure of all," he continued, reaching into his pocket. "There's something I've been wanting to ask you..."

He pulled out a small, velvet box, his hands trembling slightly. The moment felt suspended in time, her breath caught in her throat as realization washed over her. Taylor felt her heart exploding.

"Taylor Swift," he began, his voice steady despite the emotion lacing it, "will you marry me?"

The world faded away as she stared at the ring nestled in the box—a stunning symbol of their love. Tears filled her eyes, and a wide smile broke across her face. "Yes! Yes, of course, I will!"

Travis slipped the ring onto her finger, and it sparkled brilliantly against the backdrop of the city lights. He pulled her into his arms, lifting her off the ground as they spun in delight.
