My backstory is... Complicated..

I don't remember much, I sometimes forget who *I* am, I prefer to be alone rather than hanging out with my "friends" well I wouldn't call them friends.. Except Rouge she's my best friend.

"What do you think Maria? Am I..Do I bottle up my feelings?"

I stared up at the sky watching as the wind blew white flower petals a small smile appeared on my face.

I knew she didn't think that..

My smile fell as something suddenly hit me what day was it?

..

Right! It was Sonic's bir-

My thoughts were interrupted by my phone ringing.

Sonic was calling..Speak of the blue devil..I was hesitant before answering and before I could speak Sonic beat me to it.

"Dude! Where are you?! Rouge sent you like 10 texts! We're over at Amy's place!" I rolled my eyes as I leaned against the pillar of the roof.

I looked down over the edge making sure I was high enough that nobody could see me.

I brought the phone to my ear I spoke in a calm tone.

"I'm not really feeling up to it today."

Sonic groaned.

"Come on Shads! Everyone is here but you, an-" Sonic yelped as the phone was being snatched from him.

"Listen Edgelord, bring your emo ass down here! Don't make me beat the chaos out of you!" Rouge said in a half serious and half not tone.

"Besides it's not as fun without my bestie" She whined attempting to convince me to come over. I groaned in annoyance.

I knew I couldn't say no to Rouge especially when she acts like that.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms as I spoke..

"Fine.. I'll be there in 10 minutes.."

"Awh, I knew you couldn't say no, See you in a bit Darling! Muah!"

Rouge then hung up which left me alone in silence, a white flower petal flew by I grabbed it and smiled weakly.

"Yeah yeah I know..You would want me to have fun.." I mumbled as my mind was filled with thoughts of my best friend. I stared down at the soft petal in my hand before clenching it in my hand, crushing it.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, pushing down any bad thoughts that would ruin my mood and tried to force a smile.

I then put the crushed petal in my pocket and walked towards the edge of the roof, before jumping off and landing on the ground below.

It was already reaching night half past the afternoon to be exact..I couldn't tell the time exactly.

Which was better that Rachel wasn't home to question where I was going, not that I hated the woman who was taking care of me I just hated how overprotective she was.

I then sunt Rouge a text saying I was on the way once I closed the fence behind me.

'See you in a bit doll <3'

At least you could count on Rouge if you needed a quick text back...

And at least I can get a walk in before I walk into chaos...
