CHAPTER TEN - FAMILY TIME

My siblings are coming over in a few minutes and I'm kinda nervous. Not only is Sade AND Justin coming, my dad and Blue are going to meet them too. I was on the rooftop smoking while talking to Reagan and Liyah on the phone.

"How do you think your dad is gonna react?" Liyah asked.

"I don't know how my dad is gonna react to Justin but I told him why I don't like Justin so that's probably gonna form his own opinion of him so he probably won't like him. But then again, Sade doesn't like my dad so it can go both ways." I say while putting out the roach.

"Shit is bout to get awkward, your other family meeting your family." Reagan said.

"Don't make it weird Reagan, she's not having an affair." Liyah said.

I chuckled a bit then checked the time on my Cartier watch. It was ten minutes before they got here.

"Guys, I gotta go. They get here in ten minutes and I need to get this smoke smell off me."

"Aight bye!" Liyah said then hung up.

"Bye guys!" Reagan said then hung up.

I walked in the elevator and checked the time.

10:53 pm

I pulled my perfume out of my purse and sprayed tons of it on myself and popped some gum in my mouth. The elevator reached my penthouse and walked out. I saw my dad on the phone and Blue playing with her toys.

"How far away are you?" I heard my dad say. "Ok, my security is downstairs waiting for you."

He hung up and looked at me.

"They're here."

"Why are they early?" I asked

"You know your mom is married to a white man."

I rolled my eyes at what he said. I don't like Justin. I went to pick up Blue and sat on the couch.

I heard the elevator ding and the door open.

My dad and I walked to the foyer. I saw Sade, my grandma, Mia, Mary, but no sign of Maverick or Justin. Thank God. If I had to spend the next two days with Justin, I might kill him.

My dad greeted them while I stood back and watched. He hugged everyone but when he got to Sade, He just stared at her and said hi.

"Adamma, go take your sisters to your room." My grandma said.

I nodded and told the girls to follow me. We made it to my room and I placed Blue on my bed. I sat on my bed while the girls looked around my room.

"Wow Adamma, your room is so big. I wish our room was this big." Mia said in awe.

"Our room is way bigger than this." Mary said.

I rolled my eyes. Mary likes to lie all the time and it gets on my nerves.

Mia sat on my bed and started talking to Blue.

"Hello! My name is Mia, what's your name?"

"Blue."

"Nice to meet you Blue. Do you wanna be friends?"

"Yes!" Blue said, nodding her head rapidly.

When they finished talking, they both got off the bed and played with the toys I had in my room for Blue. I looked at Mary who was glaring at them. She ran to the bed and looked at me.
