Joshua's POV

The house that Justine had been referring to was a contemporary styled Villa located in the outskirts of Cavite. The villa is good enough for a small family of four because it has three bedrooms on the second floor. It just needs a little renovation and it could easily become a fresh looking home.

Justine and I roamed around the house one morning to see which part of it needs a repair or redecoration. It was a day after we both arrived back in the country from our respective business trips. We decided to prepare the house first before going on our honeymoon.

We want to go straight to our new house from our honeymoon thinking that it would be more special doing so.

As soon as we entered the master's bedroom, Justine loudly gasped in awe and his eyes were twinkling. I could say that he was already in love with how the room was designed. There is a big window situated at the right side where the morning sun will rise and then on the left side was a huge wall where we could style for a painting or any other art decors. There was a walk-in closet big enough to fit our clothes on the left corner and other apparel and then a shower/bath room was situated beside it.

"Do you want to take it?" I asked him while we were standing by the door.

I was hugging him from behind so we could look at the room simultaneously. He nodded eagerly in response.

"I would love to take it!" He exclaimed before turning around to face me.

He looked at me and smiled with his eyes full of excitement. I could feel his excitement so much that it excited me too. I was personally looking forward to the days and nights that we would spend together in this house and in this room.

"Let's sign the papers then." I decided with a smile.

"Thank you!' He exclaimed and hugged me tightly so I hugged him back.

"Do you want to christen the place now?" I whispered, suddenly thinking about something naughty.

He gasped and quickly pulled away from my hold.

"No!" He answered before running out of the room down to the first floor of the house.

I laughed at his reactions, finding it adorable. After giving the room a last glance, I hurriedly followed him down.

"If you do not want to christen the bedroom, how about the kitchen?" I called out playfully, which earned me a scream of protests from him.

Since we both liked the house, we agreed to sign the transfer of title that same day. If we want to live here the moment we are back from a three week honeymoon then we need to start preparing for it now.

We have already asked Jun to supervise the renovation of the house and he gratefully agreed. He even told us that he would buy us the furniture as a gift for our wedding. I originally would have refused his offer thinking that it was too much as a gift but Justine quickly accepted the gift with a wide grin on his face.

He even gave Jun a list of the furniture that he would like for the house which the latter agreed instantly.

What a friendship these two have. I remembered thinking while observing their natural camaraderie.

Seeing that everything had been planned out perfectly, Justine and I left the country to have our honeymoon, finally.

It took us almost eleven hours on air before the plane landed at the Velana International Airport in Maldives. From the airport we will have to ride a ferry to get to Himmafushi Harbor station. After getting there, we will need to ride another ferry to get to Meeru Island Resort where we have booked a room for three weeks.
