Hey, folks!

The loose collection of chapters and ideas you see before you is only a FIRST DRAFT for the sequel to my published novel, Iron Empire. It is one of two books that act as direct follow-ups, with the other being Silver Ghost.

If this is the first novel of mine you've clicked on, I HIGHLY recommend you go read Iron Empire first, or nothing will make sense.

If you've already read Iron Empire, then I recommend you read Silver Ghost before OR after this novel, the two are interchangeable.

A second disclaimer: Iron Empire has been published on Amazon, and the copy available there is somewhat different from the old draft I've left on Wattpad. If you would like to read Silver Saint, PLEASE NOTE that I am writing this sequel based on the AMAZON COPY of my book.

Expect differences in character names, events and locations, but the general story structure and history remains compatible, meaning if you treat this as a slightly alternate-universe take on the free Wattpad edition of the Iron Empire story, you'll be just fine.

I don't intend to update this novel on a regular basis, but I want to get feedback from anyone interested in the sequel as I slowly begin to develop it!

Of course, that means that everything is SUBJECT TO CHANGE based on your feedback!

I'm excited to begin this next step in Jackson's journey... and it's going to be a dangerous one.

Time to return to the Iron War, folks.

Update: December 31st, 2024: Due to the sheer scale of this novel, the book formerly known as Steel Skies has been split in two. The content centered around Vanguard Squad and the origins of the Iron War will continue in Steel Skies, while this book, now named as Silver Reign, will act as the direct sequel to Iron Empire. Please pardon my dust as I work to make some changes to both stories.

Update 2, May 16th, 2025: With over forty chapters written and twenty released, this book is now deep in the drafting stage. Expect weekly releases as we near the end of Act One!

Update 3, October 19th, 2025: Pardon our dust! The novel once known as Silver Reign is once again undergoing mitosis, and will now be THREE separate novels! Silver Saint and Silver Ghost occur simultaneously and follow Jackson and Taewon, respectively, while Silver Reign will end the trio of books with a bang. You read that right, folks, that's THREE full-length novels. (Managing scope creep is, uh, not my strong suit.) If you enjoy Silver Saint, go check out the companion novel, Silver Ghost, on my profile! Both stories are intertwined, not sequels, and act as an 'A' and 'B' plot to the larger narrative!
