2. The Assault

"What exactly was your thought process in attacking this girl?" Makarov, the principal, asked. "Well, uh, she stole my twenty dollar bill AND she's been bullying me since The Incident." I replied. The principal nodded his head, recalling this so called "incident". "And so you attacked her with a math book, specifically geometry?"

Lucy is sitting in the front row, with Lisanna behind her. She is paying attention but Lisanna is twisting her white hair. "Hey, Crybaby." Lisanna whispers, Lucy looked back at her. "I used that twenty you gave me for more posters of Natsu Dragneel!" She chuckles. Lucy's face turns red.

Lisanna only knows this because they used to be friends their freshman year of high school and Lucy was OBSESSED with Natsu. Lisanna only came to Lucy's house once and never returned, after the incident of burning simple peanut butter cookies, which is a red flag in Lucy's eyes. Lisanna uses Lucy's almost obsession with Natsu as a bullying tactic pretty well. She can get under Lucy's skin so easily, it's almost scary.

BAM!

A math textbook gets slapped into the perfect pale face of Lisanna, and by whom you ask? Lucy Heartfilia.

I shiver from the memory, "Mister, I don't know what came over me. She just got under my skin and I just-"

"I expect nothing more from you, Lucy Heartfilia. After losing us the prize place of top ten because of your actions in Romeo and Juliet, I wouldn't expect anything less." Makarov tenses up, "Now, I suggest taking a break and going home." He points towards the shut door. I lower my head in deep sadness. "Yes sir." I walk off and out of Fairy High.

I walk into my bedroom and jump into bed. I stare at the ceiling, "Man.. My reputation really has gotten into the trash." UGH! I stare at Natsu's poster and smirk. "Well..."

"One thing is not getting past me-- Lisanna dating Natsu." If that would ever happen, Lisanna is also a theatre kid and Natsu is POPULAR. Among us girlies, Lisanna would never stand a chance. Even if her breasts are perky and her lips are always plump, he would never swoop so low! But, in my case, my perfect fantasy is that I'll be his dirty little secret or DLS, if you know what I mean. Imagine being Natsu's DLS! That would make me die out of complete and utter happiness!

NOW, how do I even talk to him about that? Would I just walk up and wink, and say "Waddup, can I be your dirty little secret?" No, that's way too straightforward. I am not like that. Or maybe, what if I talk to his friends and become their friends and then we'll meet through a mutual? No, that's also too out of my comfort-zone. Hmm...

And just like that, I fell asleep.

6:22 PM

I woke up to the buzzing of the doorbell, "Dad, get the door!" I yelled. No stomping of feet could be heard. My feet shuffled to the front door, I groaned, opening the door. "What do you-?" I looked up and saw the most handsomest man in my life. His pink hair was squished down because of a red hat with a black pizza logo on it. Two pizza boxes were in his hands. OH M GEE! Is that... No, it can't be!

"Hi, for Lucy Heart-" He started to say but stopped.

"Oh you're that one girl from Fairy High." His lips curled.

He chuckles, "Sorry, still kind of funny." I widen my mouth, "You, Natsu Dragneel, the playboy and the model is a freaking pizza delivery boy?" I chuckled, a blush appeared on his cheeks. "Well, kind of need the money to afford rent."

Rent?

"Here's your pizza by the way." Natsu handed the pizza to her. I picked it up and smiled at him. "Thanks, pizza delivery boy." He chuckles, "Don't tell anyone I am one please." I raised an eyebrow at him, "Don't want your fangirls calling the place you work at and giving you more of a hassle?" Natsu gives his cheeky grin. "See, you get it."

"Thanks, see you." He walked off and into his black car with red flames on it.

I shut the door and immediately my heart starts pounding, 'See you'? What does that mean? Usually when someone says 'see you', it means they'll see you again and usually talk to you. Does that mean he enjoyed talking to me? Does that mean he'll want to DLS with me?!

I breathed in-and-out. Lucy Heartfilia, the girl known as Crybaby and the girl behind why Fairy High was performing so badly, just talked to Natsu Dragneel!

EEEEEEE!

I squealed, running towards my bedroom with a pizza box in my hands. I sat on the edge of my bed and ate a piece of pizza. I smiled at the poster, "Maybe I do have a chance."
