5. Friends

Lucy walked into the cafeteria, "Hey, Lucy?" Natsu asked, sitting at her table. "Natsu?" she questioned. "Would you like someone to sit with you?" he studies her facial expressions. "But don't you sit with Gray?"

"He's got other friends, plus, you interest me." Natsu grins,

What? I interest him?

He leans his chin on the palm of his hand. "Come sit down." Natsu pats the table's seat, Lucy sits down next to him and starts eating. "So, what do you like doing for fun?" He questions, Lucy looks up at him with a confused look. Why is he acting so friendly? I wonder...

"I like to write stories."

Natsu eyes her, "What kind of stories?"

"Uh... Romance and fantasy." Lucy replies,

"Interesting."

I was walking to my last class of the day but got stopped in the hall by Lisanna. "What was that outburst at auditions for? You completely humiliated her!" Lisanna yelled at me. I raised my brows at her. "Mrs. Charlie almost got fired because of your actions!" My orbs widened at this statement. "Seriously?" I said with complete dismay. She brought out her phone and showed her the post on twitter, "Apparently you're famous...again!"

The first time was from people posting me falling on stage at the Romeo and Juliet performance. People posted me everywhere on twitter, tagging 'CrybabyHeartfilia' and 'FairyHighSux'. But, this time is was a positive response. I grabbed her phone and read the comments, most of them were saying 'Such a godly voice and response! #HeartfiliaIsSoCool'. "Hey!" She grabbed her phone back. "At least it's positive!" I chuckle and walk off.

I walk into my last class of the day which Natsu Dragneel is apart of. I sit in front of him and he taps my shoulder, "Hey, Miss Famous." his lips curl. "Hey, Mister Pizza Delivery Boy." I whisper slightly. He gasps, "Someone said your body is fyre." Natsu laughs and shows me the comment. "Well, at least someone is seeing my ASSets." I laugh with him.

Lisanna eyes the two's interaction through the window that's next to the door.

Lucy walks out of class with Natsu by her side. They walk out the front entrance and to the parking lot. She leans on her gray SUV, "You walked me to my car?" Natsu smirks, "Yeah, to be nice."

Natsu stretches, "So, history is killing me. Can you help?"

Does he want me to teach him history?

"I'm free, no pizza delivering tonight." He chuckles. Lucy smiles, "Awe I was craving some pizza from the great ole pizza delivery boy." Natsu smiles at her, "Not tonight... So, want to come over to my place and help me learn?" He questions.

"Uh.." Lucy stutters,

Natsu shuffles. "The test is tomorrow. I need help, Lucy!" She smiles at him, "Okay. I'll do it."

Lucy follows him towards his black car with flames on it. She opens the door and sits down inside the small interior. Natsu starts the car, "Once we're done, I'll take you back here so you can grab your car."

Around fifteen minutes later, they show up to an apartment complex. They walk out the car and he locks it. Natsu walks up to the door of '328' and smiles at Lucy. "Don't judge my interior." He opens the door and walks in. Lucy follows, the interior is full of fire decorations, red and black are the main colors. A cat jumps up onto the couch and meows at Natsu. "You have a cat?" Lucy asks, Natsu nods and pets the cat. "His name is Happy."

Lucy looks around and smiles. "Seems you like red and black." Natsu smirks, "My favorites." Natsu sits down on the black leather couch and Lucy sits next to him. She opens her bag and places a history textbook on her lap. "So, what do you need help with?" She asks. "Well, first of all the presidents of Fiore. And then the Ten Wizard Saints."

She flips through the textbook and lands on the page of the Ten Wizard Saints. "Who was the first wizard saint?" Lucy questions him, Natsu ponders on this question. "Uh, well y'know...let's start off easy!" He grabs the textbook and smirks. "Are you going to hit me with this textbook?" She grimaces, "Jackass." Natsu chuckles, "I'm just playing with you,"

"She deserves it anyways." He mutters. Lucy looks up from the textbook, "Why?"

Natsu stares at her for a couple of seconds and shakes his head, "We were flings for a month and she just was so I don't even know. Just not right for me, y'know? She would constantly follow me and act like we were together even though I broke it off weeks ago. It just was so stressful."

Lisanna and Natsu were flings?!

"Does she still do that?" Lucy asks. Natsu looks up at her and shakes his head, "Nah." Lucy looks at him with worried eyes. Natsu suddenly stands up, "You hungry?" She stands up with him, "Always!" They walk into the small valley kitchen. He looks through his pantry and rolls his eyes, "I forgot to get groceries this week."

Groceries?

"I only have pancake mix and cereal." He laughs. "Which one?" he holds each one out in front of Lucy. "Probably pancakes."

"Good choice."

He grabs his speaker and connects it to his phone, he plays some hip-hop. They are both wearing aprons. Natsu dances around, while waiting for the stove to heat. "You can mix the pancakes."

"Aye, aye captain." Lucy pours the water into the mix and starts whisking it. She sways her hips back-and-forth catching Natsu's attention. He grins and watches her. "What?" Lucy asks, and Natsu just continues watching.

He shakes his head and grabs the bowl and pours out little circles of pancakes. "I have frosting!" Natsu opens the pantry door and grabs the frosting. He smirks, "What?" She asks again, he bites the frosting tip off and spits it onto the floor. She raises a brow. Natsu grabs her jaw softly and squirts a white mustache on her upper lip. A blush appears on her cheeks. She rolls her eyes and grabs the frosting right out from his hand. White frosting squirts all over the kitchen and onto the two teenagers.

Natsu pauses and looks at the pancakes, he flips them and their completely black! "I burnt the freaking pancakes!" Lucy chuckles, "Pancakes are the easiest thing to cook!" He laughs with her, "I know but someone distracted me!"

He plates the burnt pancakes on the plate. "I am not eating that." Lucy laughs out. "Yeah, me neither." Natsu opens the trash can and throws the burnt pancakes and the paper plate away.

They sit back down on the couch and look at one-another. "So, what now?" she questions.

Natsu leans back and smirks at her, "You're very pretty, y'know?"

A blush appears on her cheeks, "Is this one of your playboy tactics?" She chuckles. Natsu keeps a serious face. "I'm in need of something that I haven't had in two months." Lucy raises a brow. "Oh?"

Natsu places his hand on her cheek and his thumb massages the area.

OH M GEE! WHAT IS HAPPENING!
