9. Secrets Revealed (Short Chapter)

Natsu sat on the swing set, waiting for Lucy's arrival. He told her to meet her in the playground close to the Elementary Schools. He knows she'll probably not come but he'll wait.

Several hours past and the sun is now setting. Leaves are crunching behind him, Natsu looks at the person creating these sounds. It's Lucy Heartfilia. Natsu smiled, "Deep down, I knew you would come." Lucy scoffed, "Shut up, what do you want?"

"Come swing with me." Natsu commanded. "What? I'm not here to be childish and to play around."

"Sit."

Lucy groans and sits down on the swing next to him. "I wanted to say something to you but I've never told a girl about it." Lucy raises an eyebrow. "My father and mother, I loved more than ever, passed away in a car crash when I was a kiddo. So, now I love big but when I realise I am loving big, I distant myself because I don't want to be alone again."

Lucy widens her eyes, "You're telling me that you have trauma?" Natsu lowers his head, "Luce, everyone has trauma, whether it's big or small, it still is trauma."

Lucy smiles at him, "You're very wise when you realised you hurt someone."

Natsu looks up at her, "I have to be when I realise I have feelings for someone." She widens her chocolate orbs, "Y-You have feelings for me?"

Natsu shakes his head with embarrassment, "God. Yes I have feelings for you."
