I walked for a good hour the fog was getting thicker but that didn't worry me, at least not yet.

After a good 2 hours or so it was getting thicker to the point I couldn't see a building or even a car.

What's worst is that it was getting dark and too dangerous to find my way back home.

I took my phone out and tried using the Maps app.

[Connection Lost]]

"Dammit!" I said stomping my foot and turning my phone off and putting it back into my bag.

I continued walking until I reached a parking lot making me have some hope on where I'll be staying for the night.

Walking a few steps forward I saw the name of the building.

"Norman's Hotel"

I let out a sigh and started to walk a little bit further watching my step until I found the entrance.

Opening the door I was greeted with beautiful red walls with flower patterns on them and the lighting made it feel welcoming.

I walked up over to the counter and rang the little dirty almost silver golden bell.

A few minutes went by and I rang it again and again and... Again before a guy walked out the back, sweating and nervous.

"Y-Yes?"

He looked at me and wiped the sweat off before fidgeting with his hands.

"O-Oh Customers I-I'll be back just you wait," he said before going back to the backroom.

I waited patiently before a slick-back blonde guy with blue eyes came out with a stupid fucking smirk on his face.

"Oh Well Hello There you're [F/n]... Correct?"

Immediately I was weirded out and looked at him confused.

"Yeah... How did you know?" I asked him and he chucked as he got a small box out.

"Oh You Just Look Like Someone who is named [F/n]," he said before taking out a small black key with a button on the end of it.

"Here you go, your room is 302 just turn the corner you'll see some stairs, and then turn a right that's where you'll find the room at the end of the hallway," he said giving me a creepy smile showing off his white teeth.

"Yeah... Thanks... Dude," I grabbed the key from him but then he grabbed it making me jump and look straight into his eyes.

"You're special... I can see it in those eyes..."

I slowly went into my bag and slowly pulled out the knife.

He seemed to notice as his smile slowly faded and he let go of me. "You Be Safe now [F/n]," he said and I immediately walked away before I looked back one last time and saw him smile at me before fading away into the back room.

[In front of Room 302]]

I looked down the hallway to see the room making me feel weird and scared.

Every room here ranged from 1-10 downstairs and 20-30 here, upstairs and that door is the only one that is odd from the rest of them and away from all.

I made my way over to it and saw a small little peephole in the middle of it which was weird since all of the other ones didn't have one. I put the key through the hole and unlocked it.

Slowly I opened it even wider making a creek sound.

Inside it looked and felt like home, I walked in and closed the door.

Locking it, I threw the key on the counter along with my bag after I took my phone out before taking my vintage green jacket off as well as my grey hoodie before I hung them on the side of the old grey couch that looked like something grandparents would have at their house.

I lie on the couch and turn on my phone to see almost 99+ messages from Valerie.

Immediately I sat up and called her back, and as if she was expecting it, she picked up quicker than me finding my car keys.

"[F/n] holy shit you made me fucking worried what the fuck is wrong with you?!"

I scratched my forehead and we started our conversation.

She was pretty mad, but thankfully I got to calm her down and wished her luck on her trip.

"I know I always say this but it's because I worry for you babe but please... Stay safe, they're so many evil people who will take advantage of you, I love you... So fucking much... My beautiful butterfly"

I blushed and nodded. "I love you too and don't worry, I'm a tough gal no one will put their hands on me!"

We both chuckled before saying goodbye and hanging up.

I let out a sigh smiling to myself before going back to lie down.

My head started hurting making me slightly open my eyes but everything looked like tears were forming.

Everything looked dark but... I didn't turn off the lights at all and... A tall human figure was standing in the corner with something in their hand.

An axe, Maybe?

Maybe it's my imagination... It's not... Real... Maybe just my eyes playing tricks on me.

I closed my eyes and turned my back against the unknown person and fell back asleep.
