Hiccup (monologue): Hey dad, it's me again. It has been three months since Drago's defeat and a lot has happened back then. I became the Chief of Berk and Toothless is now the King of Dragons. Even though I'm still sad about your death, I still have to move on, even if I don't want to. Mom tries to do the best she can for all that time she lost when I was little and I'm grateful for that, even if I'm too old for bedtime stories. Even with me as the Chief, I still make time to save dragons from trappers, and hunters. Hope you're happy in Valhalla Dad, your son and wife still miss you.

Astrid: Hiccup?

Hiccup: (turns around) oh Astrid, didn't hear you coming.

Astrid: hehe, that's Stormfly for you. (Walks up and sits next to Hiccup on the ledge) you still ...?

Hiccup: talking like he's here? (Looks at Stoick's statue outside the Greathall) yep.

Astrid: it's ok Hiccup. I bet he's very proud of you. (Kisses his cheek)

Hiccup: (sighs) what would I do without you?

Astrid: sulk everyday.

Hiccup: yeah ... maybe. (Toothless roars) hm? (Looks down the ledge and see boats coming to the docks) looks like the traders are here.

Astrid: let's just hope they're good trades.

Astrid and Hiccup mount their dragons and fly down to the docks. Hiccup sees his mom there with Cloudjumper. Toothless and Stormfly land and Hiccup and Astrid meet up with Valka.

Hiccup: hi mom, you here to see what they have too?

Valka: yes I am.

The three of them looked around to see what they could want but nothing has peeked their interest. The twins, Snotlout, Fishlegs, and Eret all came to the boats to see it. Snotlout got a sword, Fishlegs got some books, Eret got fish for Skullcrusher, and the twins got a barrel. Astrid wondered why the twins only got a barrel but she knew that they were muttonheads so she didn't put much mind to it. Everyone has gotten what they wanted and they all said their farewells as the trading boats soon left.

The group then went to the Greathall to eat dinner.

Astrid: this is some good food, Hiccup.

Hiccup: yeah? Bucket and Mulch did get a good yield of fish this morning. And I'm thinking that we open more land to get more animals and-

Viking: Hiccup! Hiccup! (Runs into the Greathall)

Hiccup: what? What's wrong?

Viking: something is going on with my dragon and I don't know what to do?!

Hiccup: ok, let's calm down here. Where is your dragon?

Viking: it's outside.

Hiccup: ok. Astrid go get Gothi. (Astrid nods and leaves to go get Gothi)

Hiccup and the Viking went outside and others came to see the commotion. They went to the Viking's house and see his Gronckle. The Gronckle is lying on the floor.

Viking: he just started scratching and started getting sick.

Hiccup: did he eat anything unusual or-?

Viking: no, nothing out the ordinary. I gave him his favorite, Limestone.

Hiccup: hmm? (Hears the breathing lessen) something's wrong. (Puts his head on the Gronckle's chest to heart a weak heartbeat) his heartbeat, it's lessening.

Astrid: (bursts in) Hiccup, I got Gothi. (Gothi comes in)

Hiccup: is there anything you can do?

Gothi walks up to the Gronckle and checks him out, the. She wrote in a little dirt patch in the house.
