A SENSE OF NERVOUSNESS took over Amelia, as her and Lando landed. They spent the majority of the flight talking — getting to know each other, as a newly formed couple would —, watching movies together, reading, and occasionally sleeping here and there. She learned many things about him, including his early years of racing and his love for it, but also personal hobbies.

He started karting when he was 7.

He made his debut in F1 at 19.

He likes golf, gaming and DJing.

She remembered it all.

He learned that she originally wanted to go to university and study Journalism. She loved to write and talk about the things she was interested in. He loved that about her.

Amelia would've never thought of Lando as the golf type. He was so chaotic, and outgoing. Who knew he could have a calm and steady side to him.

They also learned that they have a mutual love for music. Lando liking country music, while Amelia liked what she liked ( but mostly alternative rock). He loved the loud club music; she preferred the quiet of her home. They were so different, yet so similar.
They felt more connected and comfortable with each other. Perfect for putting on a facade for the media.

As soon as Amelia heard the pilot announce that they landed safely, and that they could exit now, Lando unbuckled his seatbelt and stood up, Amelia doing the same. They yelled out their 'thanks' to the pilot. She turned to Lando, who was gathering their bags. "Do any of your friends or family know about us?"
Lando looked at her, a slight smirk playing on his lips at the uncertainty in her voice at the mention of them. "My best friend Max knows. But I don't think i've told anyone else. And we shouldn't tell anyone either way, right?" Amelia nodded.

"Yeah, my best friend, Maya, knows too. But no one else." Lando fully turned to her and looked at her, standing right in front of her. The heavy bags in his hands, making his arm muscles flex. She couldn't help but let her eyes travel down his arms, seeing his prominent veins. Lando seeing this, bit his lower lip while smiling, and tilted his head slightly to the side, looking at her.

He looked at her every part of her face; her cheeks, her lips, her eyes. The eyes he often caught himself lost in, the lips he wanted to be able to be entangled in, the cheeks he wanted to caress. He's never thought of anyone in a soft, loving way. He always just skipped to the 'good' part, completely ignoring how the other person was like. But as for Amelia, he could look at her face all day, every day. She was beautiful.
