"El!" Mike said as they all saw her sitting by the fence, looking lost in thought.
"Are you okay?" Julie asked as she approached the girl. She simply nodded, and Julie patted the back of her bike. "Hop on."
"We only have a few hours," Mike said. Eleven hesitated before getting on behind the girl. Mike, Lucas, and Dustin waited, and then they all took off.
Julie walked alongside Mike and Eleven, while Lucas and Dustin trailed behind them.
What happened to your chin?" Julie asked.
"Oh, this? Troy tripped me."
"That shithead!" She exclaimed, "You want me to confront to him about it- cause really, i will my dads been teaching me how to use a gun since i was-"
"No, it's fine. I don't want him to hurt you as well, Jules," He cut her off.
Julie paused. "Jules," she thought. No one had ever called her that before.
"Did you just call me Jules?" She asked. He looked at her. "Yeah, I did. Sorry."
"No, it's fine. Jules, I like it." She smiled, earning a smile in return.
"Troy?" Eleven spoke up. "Yeah, he's a huge mouth breather," Julie said. "He's also my ex. Ugh, I couldn't stand him." Mike discreetly giggled.
"Mouth breather?" El asked. "Yeah, you know..." Julie started. "A dumb person," Mike finished.
"Everyone at school knows," Mike looked at Julie.
"I guess I didn't tell you after school because I didn't want you to think I was such a wastoid," Mike sighed.
"Mike," Julie spoke.
"Yeah?"
"You're not a wastoid, okay? I think you're cool," she reassured, then grabbed his hand and rubbed it reassuringly.
Mike blushed and said, "T-thanks, You're cool too, like really cool." He admired her.
Not even a week ago, Mike thought she was a bitch, but it turns out she's so much more than that.

Eleven led the group to Will's home, but the boys were all confused and thought of the trip as pointless. "What is this?" Julie turned to the three boys.
"It's Will's home," Lucas answered. Julie furrowed her brows. Why were they at Will's home? He couldn't possibly be here.
