“I'm an actress for a reason.”

"I told you to rest, didn't I?"

Hyunjae groaned, rolling on his bed to find a good position. He sent a sharp glare towards Sohee before pulling the covers over his head.

"Don't give me that look," she frowns, arms crossed as she leans on the wall of his room. "I thought I made it clear."

"Come on..." he groaned sarcastically.

Instead of resting and getting a good amount of sleep last night, he decided to play games in the living room until the sun rises, because he was feeling better, a lot better. There's nothing to do in his room and he got bored so he thought it's okay to play a game. But then time passed by so fast, he didn't even noticed it was already morning.

And yes, he didn't win a single round.

"I thought my fever was gone." he moaned, face hidden in the covers. "I was feeling well, I even tried to learn the choreography we were taught last week."

"Well you thought wrong." she replied, approaching Hyunjae to pull the cover off of him.

The same pout on his face appeared as Sohee checks his forehead with the back of her hand. He was still burning.

"Help," he mumbles. "My head's killing me."

"If you didn't stay up until morning, you would've been good now." she huffed. "I'm gonna make something, what do you wanna eat?"

"Anything but ramen" he said quietly and turned away to face the other side of the room. "I don't want ramen."

Sohee started to cook, plating everything once she's done. She went to his room and helped him up.

"Need anything else?"

"You're gonna feed me again?" he asked. There was a hint of playfulness in his tone.

At the time where his head was pounding like there's men drilling his skull, he still has the strength to annoy Sohee. He could perfectly eat on his own, feed himself and then take his medicine.

But it won't be fun.

"Stop joking around, you're not as sick as you were last night." Sohee says.

"But I still feel so weak." he argues. "Just help me eat, if you're not gonna feed me."

"Then how can I help you?"

"Scoop some food and then put it in my mouth." he says, still holding his puppy eyes. "Please?"

Sohee could say no and leave. But of course, it's him. How can she decline?

In the end, Sohee sat beside him and fed him like last night. He has a bigger appetite this time, happily munching on the food she prepared. He would praise her cooking, saying he likes the taste very much.

"You're such a good cook." Hyunjae says, now holding the spoon by himself.

"Thanks, I guess."

"It's not too salty," he described. "It's very tasty and delicious."

As Hyunjae listed down the things he likes about his food, she slowly drifts away from him, making her way out of his room.

Sohee sat by the dining table, her own food waiting for her. She took a bite and cringed a little, tasting how salty it actually was. How was Hyunjae eating it so deliciously?

She then realized she must've been out of her mind while cooking and added too much seasonings.

All night, she was waiting for Chan to reach out and apologize for what he did or maybe ask if she safely arrived home.
