Amir’s mind was racing as he sat in his study late into the night, going over everything Ayesha had revealed to him. The anger simmering within him was not just for the pain she had endured, but for the injustice she had faced. Mohit—the man who had torn Ayesha’s life apart—was out there, living freely while Ayesha struggled to rebuild herself.

Amir knew he couldn’t stand by and let this go unpunished. He wasn’t a man of violence or rash decisions, but he also knew when to act. This wasn’t just about protecting Ayesha—it was about giving her the closure she needed. It was time to end this chapter of her life for good.

The next morning, he called one of his closest friends, Khalid, who was in the police force. Khalid was not only someone Amir trusted deeply, but he had the resources to help track down everything about Mohit.(Last night Ayesha revealed his identity).

“Khalid, I need your help,” Amir said, his voice firm.

“Anything, Amir. What’s going on?” Khalid’s voice was calm but carried a note of curiosity.

“There’s someone… someone from Ayesha’s past. He’s been threatening her, and I need to make sure he’s brought to justice. This man can’t continue to haunt her.”

Khalid didn’t hesitate. “Send me whatever information you have. We’ll dig into this guy’s life, and I’ll pull in a few people to speed things up.”

Amir sent over what little he knew—Mohit’s name, the threatening messages, and a few details Ayesha had reluctantly shared with him. But it wasn’t enough. He needed more.

That’s where his other friend, Saif, came in. Saif was an expert in cybersecurity and hacking. He wasn’t someone Amir usually called for help, but in this case, there was no other option. If Mohit had left any trace of his threats or actions online, Saif would find them.

Within hours, Saif had hacked into Mohit’s digital life. Bank accounts, social media, private chats—nothing was left untouched. What they found was far worse than Amir had expected. Mohit wasn’t just a manipulative ex-lover; he had been involved in multiple crimes, including blackmail and extortion. Ayesha had been just one of his many victims.

Amir’s anger boiled over as he saw the evidence laid out before him. This man had destroyed lives, including the woman he had come to care so deeply for. Enough was enough.

Khalid moved quickly once he had the evidence. He gathered a team, put together a case, and within days, Mohit was arrested. His crimes were exposed for the world to see, and there was no escape for him this time. The media coverage of his arrest was swift, ensuring that Mohit’s influence and threats would no longer hang over Ayesha’s head.

A few days later, Amir stood in the doorway of their bedroom, watching Ayesha as she prayed. She looked peaceful, serene, even though he knew she had been battling her past for so long. But today, something had changed.

When she finished her prayer and rose, Amir approached her quietly. “Ayesha, I have something to tell you.”

She turned to him, her face softening. “What is it?”

“It’s about Mohit,” he said carefully. “He’s… he’s been arrested.”

Ayesha froze, her eyes wide with shock. “What? How?”

Amir sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I reached out to some friends. They helped me gather evidence against him, and he’s been charged with several crimes. He won’t be able to hurt you or anyone else again.”

Tears welled up in Ayesha’s eyes, but this time, they weren’t tears of sadness or fear. They were tears of relief. The weight she had been carrying for so long suddenly felt lighter, almost bearable.

“You… you did that for me?” she whispered, her voice breaking.

Amir stepped closer, his gaze intense. “I didnt do it but Allah did, I was just the chess piece . You deserve peace, Ayesha. You deserve to move forward without the shadows of your past haunting you.”

She looked at him, her heart pounding in her chest. For so long, she had been trapped in the darkness of her past, but now… now there was a chance for freedom. A chance to bury the pain and finally start anew.

“Thank you,” she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Amir nodded, his expression softening. “You don’t have to thank me. You’ve been through enough, Ayesha. It’s time for you to heal.”

---

That night, Ayesha sat alone in her room, staring out of the window at the dark sky. For the first time in what felt like forever, she could breathe without the constant fear of being watched or threatened. Mohit was gone, his hold on her life finally broken.

She closed her eyes, allowing herself to feel the relief wash over her. There was still a long way to go, but at least now, she could see a path forward. A path that wasn’t clouded by the past.

In the quiet of the night, she whispered a silent prayer. Not just for herself, but for Amir. He had saved her in more ways than one, and while she still wasn’t sure if she could love again, she knew one thing for certain: Amir was her home, her safety.

And that, for now, was enough.
