12 • a new jooshin

You walked into school the following Monday and everything had already begun to change. It was like normality had come back but it was also different as the tension that originally divided the red ties and blue ties was dissipating.

You and Rian walked in together. Minding your business as the two of you usually did.

"Hera is back today, are you going to see her?"

"Yeah , we have coffee planned for tomorrow evening." You said not finding the situation stressful.

"Just be nice, she'll be nervous coming back after the news stories." You just looked at him as he said this.

"You're acting like I was the rude one." You pointed out. "But it's a fresh slate, like Jaei requested"

"Good, also the new principal is meant to be holding an assembly this afternoon. Do you know who it is?" He asked as you both walked towards your special class.

"No, do you ?" You looked at him.

"Not yet. Hopefully they will be more competent than the last." He let out before walking into the class room. You followed.

Jaei's usual desk was now gone, so the five became a four. The seating arrangement being You, Woojin, Rian and then Hera.

"Y/n should we sit next to each other in assembly?" Hera asked as you walked past to head to your seat.

"Sure, but let's not be too close to the front. I feel being in the middle is the best choice." You suggested as you sat down.

"Is it just to introduce the new Head Teacher?" Woojin asked , looking at the three of you for an answer.

"Maybe a new art teacher too." Rian said as your special class teacher walked.

"Oh someone new for you to date." You whispered to the boy next to you with a cheeky smile and he just returned an unimpressed look.

At the end of the class the four of you began to head to your usual classroom for the rest of your classes.

"We have art after history, Y/n you never told me why you opted out of art." Hera pointed out, very clearly trying to keep a friendly communication going between the two of you. You appreciated the efforts.

"It's...complicated." You shared. Glancing at Woojin.

"It was Woojin's fault! I knew it, was it because you broke up?" She asked and you just looked at her a little shocked. The two boys trying to compose their laughter.

"How do you know we were even a thing?"

"Oh come on , I saw you both outside when Ms Han tried to run you over because I was handing in my reapplication forms. And all the dots from the past began to add up." She said as if it was more obvious than Rian and Jaei.

"Ms Han tried to run you over?" Rian picked up on.

"Yeah but it's not a big deal, it was an ugly car anyway."

"I got her that car." Woojin defended his choice.

"Even more reason." Hera joked making you both laugh. Woojin looked to Rian for some support.

"It was electric blue." Rian pointed out, basically siding with you and Hera.

"Are you going to move into Jaei's seat now?" Hera asked as you both walked in.

"No, I like the back." You said looking over to your seat , smiling see Kang Ha looking at you.

"He likes Jaei you know." Hera whispered, trying to make you aware so nothing could happen to hurt you. You showed a small smile to her, understanding her intentions.
