*Ariella's POV*

I opened my eyes and scanned the room. I lift my head and see a sleeping Shawn laying on the couch with me, and Aaliyah laying peacefully asleep on the half chair and ottoman. I jump up thinking that today is Friday.

"Shawn! Shawn! Wake up!!" I whisper yell.

"Babe!" He exclaims in his surprisingly sexy morning voice. "Babe it's Saturday..."

I nod and lay my head back down.

*Several Hours Later*

"Ari, I've got to drop Aaliyah off at a slumber party at her friends house and then I'll drop you off at your house and then come get you and take you to the movies." He proposes. "I'll pick you up around 1?"

I nod and we all go to get in the car.

We drop Aaliyah off and then head to my house.

"This one?" Shawn asks. Pulling up to my house. I nod and kiss him goodbye.

"See you at 1, baby." I wave. Running inside and up the stairs, I rip open my closet door and grab a pair of ripped light wash skinny rolled up jeans and my favorite blue jumper. I slip them on after taking a shower and brushing my teeth.

I apply my normal light makeup and tossle my hair up and leave it down. I slip on a pair of grayish black Converse.

I check the time and see that it's 12:55. Just in time. I jog down stairs and tell my mom bye.

I look out the window and see Shawn pull up.

I run outside and get in the passenger seat. "Hey Babe!" I smile. He returns my greeting and drives us to the movie theater.

"2 tickets to Pitch Perfect 2, please." Shawn says to the ticket clerk. She hands him the ticket and he hands her his money. We walk hand in hand into the line for snacks and order a medium popcorn, cookie dough bites, and 2 cokes.

We take our snacks to the theatre and pick our seats, being the only people in there we can get the best seats in the house, middle row up top middle seats.

We start chatting about the project and then out of the corner of my eye I see that the movie is starting. I turn my focus to the screen and get comfortable, munching on my cookie dough bites.

I laugh at the part when Fat Amy flashed the President of the United States below the equator.

When the movie finishes I laugh and we grab our trash and throw it away, going out into the parking lot.

"That was a great movie." I exclaim once we start to leave the parking lot. "Much better than the first in my opinion."

"On a different note, you look adorable today, as always, Ari." I blush as Shawn grabs my hand and holds it as he drives us back to his house.

We're sitting on the couch when a glistening black piano catches my eye. I gasp and run over to it.

"You play?" I ask Shawn. He nods blushing. I sit on the bench. "Do you mind?"

He shakes his head and motions for me to continue. I place my hands on the keys and close my eyes, taking a deep breath. My fingers start to play the notes of Lay Me Down.

"And make sure you're all right, I'll take care of you. I don't want to be here if I can't be with you tonight." I breathe in and continue. "I'm reaching out to you, can you hear my call? This hurt that I been through, I'm missing you, missing you like crazy."

Shawn joins in.

"Lay me down tonight. Lay me by your side. Lay me down toniiight. Lay me BY YOUR SIDE. Can I lay by your side, next to you, you?"

I smile at him and he claps for me. I stand up and bow playfully.

"You sing gorgeous, gorgeous!" He smiles.

"So do you."
----------------------/\----------------------

"SHAWN!" I hear a loud gruff exclaim.

Shawn's head snaps up and he stands up shoving me behind him.

"WHERE ARE YOU?" I flinch as the voice gets louder.

"S-Shawn?" I quietly stutter. He shushes me and grabs hold of my hand, still keeping me behind him. I grab my phone and type 911 into the phone keypad, ready to press call if need be.

"Ah there you are." He smirks when he walks into the living room, seeing Shawn standing with me protectively hidden behind him.

"Get out of my house, Darren." Shawn says calmly. "Get out or I'll call the cops."

"Oh like you would, scaredy cat." Darren spits. "You're too chicken."

I step out from behind Shawn and hold up my phone. "I'm not."

"Ari, stop." Shawn warns, putting his hand on my shoulder. I shrug it off and take a small step forward. Darren trying to do the same.

"Step any further towards me and I will press the button, delinquent." I snarl.

"Or you can be a good little princess and put down your phone and let me and Shawn settle this." Darren replies.

I grab his arm twisting it behind his back, "Call me princess one more time and you can kiss your ability to have kids goodbye."

"Fine just let me go and I'll leave." He says.

I eye him and say. "I think you're lying."

"What are you gonna do if I am." He teases.

"Let's just say that I have a black belt in karate and I'm not afraid to use it." I say, pushing him towards the front door, twisting his arm tighter and tighter so he can't go and attack Shawn. "You get out of this house and never come back or it'll be me and my black belt you have to answer to not Shawn. Consider this me taking it easy on you."

He runs out of the house and into his car hopefully to never return.

"Damn, babe!"
