Ron, Hermione, and Mavis would visit Harry in the hospital wing for three days. With tight restrictions on who could visit him, the trio often showed themselves walking up the stairs with mountains of gifts and cards in the arms of students who were also waiting for him to wake up. Ron's favorite gift is what he brought up on day two. It was a toilet seat from his older twin brothers, Fred and George; however, on the third day they went up, it was gone from the continuously growing pile.

Mavis looked at Harry, who appeared to be resting peacefully under the bed's white linens. The small moments they got to visit Harry brought immense joy to Ron, Hermione, and Mavis.

"Today's the day,"

"You've said that every day, Ron," said Hermione, rolling her eyes. You're not a doctor; you have no possible way to know when he wakes up."

'I'm telling you, Hermione. Today's the day,"

Mavis chimed in, "I really hope it's today. We'll have to leave soon, and I don't want to leave Harry at Hogwarts alone."

"I hope it's today, too," sighed Hermione.

After dropping off the gifts and staring at Harry for a moment (hoping he would make any movement), they left the hospital wing to return to the Great Hall.

Lunch was being served, and all the students were in the Great Hall eating and laughing. With exams over and the end of the school year just a day away, Hogwarts was celebrating.

"How's he doin' up there?" asked George, sliding over to where the three of them sat.

"Is he making any movement yet, or still just laying there like a dead man?' asked Fred.

"Like a dead man," answered Ron.

"What do you think will happen to him if he doesn't wake up before we're released for holiday?" asked Hermione.

"I'm guessing they'd just keep him here until he'd wake up," said Mavis, "But maybe it's in Harry's best interest to sleep for the entire summer. Then he can stay at Hogwarts instead of heading back home."

"No, he needs to wake up because how else will we get him to the Burrow, then? " Ron said.

"Fantastic point, Ronald," said Fred, pointing his fork at Ron, "I knew there was a brain up there somewhere."

"Oh, shut up,"

"Hey, have you guys noticed Dumbledore isn't here?" asked Hermione.

Ron, Mavis, Fred, and George joined Hermione in looking at the head table. All the professors were in their chairs except two. Professor Dumbledore and Quirrell.

"I wonder why," said Ron.

All five remained silent momentarily, pondering a quick thought on why Dumbledore would skip a meal.

"You know," started George, "Maybe Mavis talking so bloody loud today actually woke Harry up."

Immediately, Ron, Hermione, and Mavis got up from the table and ran out of the Great Hall. They went up the stairs and through the corridors, but they didn't stop until they found themselves at the door of the hospital wing.

"Do you really think?"

"Only one way to find out," said Mavis as she knocked on the door nice and loud.

Moments later, Madam Pomfrey opened the door slightly, just enough to stick her head through.

"How can I help you three?"

Ron, Hermione, and Mavis were all trying to look around her body to hopefully catch a glimpse of Harry being awake.

"Same reason we've been here the past three days," snapped Ron, "Is Harry awake?"
