After two showers and a trip to the market to get some ice cream, Cleo and I start our movie night to debrief everything.
"Almost done...." I say putting the last bit of pink face mask on her face. We do this every Friday night to talk about the week and how we want the next week to go.
This is the best way to spend Friday nights. Although we have lots of other friends, we like our alone time. Cleo hands me the mint chip ice cream and a spoon, and we start to dig in.
"Xavier told me something before we all parted ways," she said,
"He said all the guys on his floor were going to be at the pool tomorrow and wanted me to go."
"Well, what did you tell him?" I asked.
"I told him I'd think about it" she blushed.
Seeing Cleo like this makes me so happy for her. She's told me her horror story of her ex and I don't know If I would ever be able to recover like she has.
"What do you mean think about it!!! We must go!" I screamed at her.
No way am I letting her pass up a chance at seeing her mans in swim trunks.
"Ok, but anyways, tell me about...what's his name?"
"Charlie...?" I asked her.
"Yes! Who even is he? I see the way you look at him and the way he looks at you is just so..." she couldn't find words.
"His name is Charlie, and he is such a sweetheart. Thats all I really know about him." She nodded.
"Wait, Cleo. Did you purposefully lose the game of twister?" I curiously asked her.
"How did you know?"
"Cleo! Why didn't you try to win?"
"Ok ok, you can't tell Xavier or Charlie, I told you, understand?" I nodded violently.
"Okay, well, urm, Charlie ended up getting um...hard" Cleo shyly said.
He got hard? We had all been through the sex ed course, so I knew what it meant but I just did not understand how I was that much of an impact on him. It made me blush.
Cleo and I watched our favorite movie and then headed to bed, ready for this week to pass so we can spend time together with our two cute boys.
