TZUYU'S POV
"Tzuyu, everything is set, do you want to check the venue?" Jihyo asked.
"Yeah... sure... I'll be there in a minute..." I said while replying to Sana's messages while reviewing a file that will be presented later to me from the marketing team.
She then sat down in front of my desk and just looked at me.
"Uhm... what are you doing?" I asked.
"Waiting for you... I know you won't check the venue if I leave you." She said.
"I'm really busy now, Jihyo... I'll make sure to pass by later before going home." I said.
"Fine... I'll be waiting for you there." She said and left the office.
My secretary then gave me my cup of coffee and I didn't stop typing my insights about the files I was reading.
After a long meeting with the marketing team, I didn't notice that it's already night, and when I looked down to the ground floor from my office, I saw Jihyo still waiting downstairs.
I then messaged Sana that I'll be having dinner with the employees to give gratitude for working even if it's already past their working hours.
I invited everyone left in the company for dinner and we had a company dinner just a block away from the company, so we didn't use any car and just walked while talking casually.
I also invited Jihyo to come along since I feel sorry for making her wait until night.
While we're having our meal, topics about first impressions, scary encounters, and even first love were opened. And of course, since I'm the boss, it was always me who they ask because they seem to know each other very well already.
"Is there a person you despise the most in the company?" One employee asked.
"I really hate the Head of the Legal Management Department." I answered honestly making them all laugh.
"We thought he's your favorite..." Another employee asked.
"Favorite to manipulate." I said and we all laughed again.
"He's just too full of himself... if he's not good at his job, I wouldn't think twice to fire him..." I said.
"Well... we all feel the same..." My secretary said and the others nodded in agreement.
"But since you have your girlfriend now... and it's safe to say that you're happy with her... and there's nothing that can break you both... I think... have you ever had a crush for someone you worked with? Either an employee or a business partner..." My other secretary said.
"Well... I never had feelings for anyone before Sana..." I answered honestly.
"Really? Even just infatuation?" Jihyo asked.
"Yes... I don't know... maybe because of what happened before I became a Chairman..." I said.
"But seriously... we never thought you could handle a company at 16... we were all planning on giving our resignation letter when we knew a minor will take over the company... but the lawyers of your father told us that you're competent enough to handle a company since you've done a lot of work for your father... just without the employees knowing about it..." One of the oldest employees said.
"And I thank you all for believing in me... if not... I also don't know how to maintain the company..." I said.
"It's mostly your work... we're just following... and we're so surprised that you are not micromanaging anything... you're someone who we really look up to even if you're younger than me..." Another one said.
