**Beep...beep...beep...beep...** I groan, hitting my alarm clock, I forgot to turn it off when I got home. I sat up with my back against the headboard and I let out a deep and long yawn. It was 8 pm, and my night shift would've started at 9 if I hadn't changed my off day from Wednesdays to Thursdays. I got back home around 5 and decided to get some sleep in. I got out of bed, walked into my kitchen, and grabbed some cold coffee that I instantly warmed with my quirk. I opened the fridge to see what I could eat, but I couldn't find anything, it was empty. Ok, it wasn't empty, but nothing caught my eye. I returned to my room and threw on some cashmere kakis with a brown belt, a white long-sleeve top, paired with white shoes, and my small brown purse. I grabbed my phone and keys before leaving my apartment and walked a few blocks to a sushi bar. I walked in and went straight to the table near the window to have a good view. Right across the street was one of my favorite coffee shops, as they make the best chocolate croissants that go amazing with coffee.

I looked at my waiter and ordered my usual, 6 California Rolls, 6 Chicken Teriyaki Rolls, and 6 Spicy Tuna Rolls. I asked for a strawberry and green tea with a lemon. After placing my order, I looked out the window and saw a familiar figure walk out of the coffee shop carrying a small briefcase and a cup of coffee. It was Aizawa, he was probably grading papers and might live nearby. I shook my head and looked away from the window to think my waiter for setting down my drink. I looked back out the window and saw him look at me, and I looked at him. I gave him a small polite smile and instead of returning it he kept his mean mug expression and gave me a head nod before walking across the street.

I watched as he walked into the restaurant and to where I was sitting. "Mind if I join you? They had no empty tables." He asked with no energy in his voice. I looked around and saw the place packed, which it wasn't 10 minutes ago. I nod and watch him sit in front of me. "Have you been here before?" I asked him as I took a sip of my drink. "I come here every Thursday night before my night shift. Do you?" He took a large gulp of his coffee from his to-go cup. I nod understanding. "I mostly get take out once a week from here, but I was too tired to wait to take the food home and decided to dine in." He nods in amazement. My waiter came by, dropped off my food in front of me, and asked Aizawa what he would like. He asked for the same thing I had but had fewer portions, 3 California Rolls, 3 Chicken Teriyaki Rolls, and 3 Spicy Tuna Rolls. I looked at him, amazed at his order, especially since I don't think he knows I have the same thing. The waiter left to place his order and Aizawa looked at me. "What did you order?" He raised an eyebrow, looking at my food. "The same thing you did, but doubled portions for my lunch tomorrow." He seemed a bit surprised by my answer and mumbled, "Good choice" before pulling out some papers and starting to grade them while I started to eat some of my food.

"Do you need help? I know I'm not a teacher or anything, but I did go to college a few years ago, so my brain is still fresh" I asked after eating one sushi roll. He looked at me for what felt like minutes, but in reality, it had only been 10 seconds. He passed over a small stack of papers and a red pen. "I trust you'll do them right" He spoke and went back to grading the stack of papers he had. I looked at the first paper and saw that it was Shotos, I felt myself tense a bit, but that didn't stop me from grading his paper. He almost had a perfect mark but messed up on questions 2 and 9 of the assignment from today. Tomorrow we will be going to the USJ and training the kids. Well, they'll be going, I'm staying behind to create my schedule for the next few months about who I want to speak to and when. Toshinori was going to help me until he told Nezu he'd join the class. After about 20 minutes Aizawa and I both finished eating and grading papers, I had the rest of my food in a to-go box and was stacking our plates at the end of the table. The waiter had brought us our checks, thankfully they were separated so we both paid our shares. We both walked outside and looked at each other. "Well, I'll see you in the morning." I smiled at him. He looked at me with an unreadable emotion. "That's if you show up in time for the bus." He spoke, and I looked at him confused and then realized what he meant. "Oh, I wasn't going with the class to the USJ, I was planning to do some work before you all came back before school ended" He nodded and looked me in the eyes and when he was about to speak, I saw an old lady get robbed by a figure in all black and running our direction.

I used my quirk to make a fire rope which was a bright red and wasn't hot at all, then threw it at the guy, tying him up instantly and making him fall. Aizawa looked at the situation and the old lady was thanking me while walking from about 30 feet away. I gave her back her belongings and grabbed the guy, making him stand up. I looked at Aizawa and smiled. "I should take him to the authorities. But I had fun grading papers, it made my mind stay fresh. Have a nice night." I was about to walk away until he told me to wait, and I turned to look at him. "I'll take him in since my shift is going to start in 12 minutes." I looked at my phone to see it was 9:48 pm. "Ok sure, I should get some sleep since you clearly won't" I laughed and gave him the guy after I freed him of my fire, and he wrapped him up with his scarf. We said our goodbyes and I went home and did some cleaning before lying down at 11:41 pm and setting all of my alarms.

I meant to get this chapter out last night, clearly didn't go as planned. I hope you all enjoyed it and hope you're prepared for the next few chapters as they'll be taking place at the USJ probably 3-5 parts depending on how long it takes me to write a chapter and how long the chapter is.
