Lost It All

Chapter 2

I finally arrived home after three hours of partying. My mom must be working late because I didn't see her car in the garage. She works as a nurse in a local hospital. I went to my bedroom and got my pj's. Then I went into the bathroom to take a shower. I let the hot water run down my body, I didn't realize how tense I was. I kept thinking about what happend at the party. What had come over me? What ever it was I didn't like it. Maybe it's because there was something in the drink? I stayed in the shower until the water got cold. I stepped out, dried off and got my pj's on. When I walked out I saw my puppy, she is a Siberian Husky. I got her a out a week ago. Her name is Shadow because she can blend in with the shadows. She started barking at me.
"Shadow are you hungry?" I picked her up and walked into the kitchen. Since she was still a baby I have to feed her milk. I put some baby animal formula and water into a feeding bottle. She kept barking. "I'm getting it Shadow," I said while laughing. I was walking while shaking up the bottle. I got to my room and sat on my bed. Then I started to feed Shadow. About fifteen minutes later she was done and fell asleep on my stomach. I carefully layed down trying not to wake her. It didn't work. She started running around on my queen size bed.
*buzz buzz*
I grabbed my phone, 3 messages.
-mom
Had to work late. Be home soon.
I sent her back a text saying Okay. Then I read the next one.

Hey little sis I'll be in town this week. We should go out for lunch! I miss you!
-Kate
I miss you to! How's tomorrow?
-Dakota
Sounds good little sis! I cant wait to see you!
I smiled then I read the last text.

Goodnight beautiful

Night
After I sent that I looked at Shadow, she was asleep at the end of my bed. I smiled then fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to Shadow licking my face. When I sat up she pounced on me. "Okay okay I'm up Shadow!" I laughed. I got out of bed and picked up Shadow. I went downstairs and made her a bottle. Once I fed her I took her outside. After a while I started playing with her. Then the door bell rang. "Come on Shadow,"I said while opening the door. She ran inside and got one of her toys. We started to play tug-of-war.
"Dakota!" I hear my mom yell. I jumped up and ran to the door. Then ran into his arms.

"Dakota, Your finally home!" I said.

"I told you I was coming home dork," He said.

"still." I said pouting. He started to tickle me. "Dakota-stop-i will murder you in your sleep!" I said joking.

"Why would you ever want to do that? I'm a perfect little angel," he said. I started laughing. After a while he did to. "Okay so I'm not a perfect angel, but neither are you!" He said.

"Nope I'm a little devil," I said smirking. No one but my friends knew what I have done. We walked into the living room and Shadow attacked Dakota with kisses.

"Who's this little cutie?" He asked.

"This is my new puppy Shadow." I told him. I sat down on the couch and then Shadow came over and sat on my lap. I was going to say something but my phone buzzed.

You me dinner tonight wear something casual and Sexy just not to Sexy ;)

"Kate why don't we take a walk." He said.

"Okay sure," I said while getting up. "Let me go get dressed." I moved so Shadow got up. Then I went upstairs. Once I was alone I texted Andy back.

Be ready by 6

I sighed then put a pair of shorts on and my Falling In Reverse t-shirt. I put on socks that barely reached my ankle then put on my black converse shoes. I brushed my hair and put it up in a bun. Once I was done I grabbed my phone then went downstairs.
