Chapter 16

"What do you mean tae?" Jungkook asked confusion is written all over his face. "I have been endure it since I'm 10."  Tae bite his lips to suppress the sob which is threatening to come out. Jungkook feel numb. "W-what?" Jungkook let out a shaky breath. His grip got tighten around the younger's waist as if tae will disappear somewhere if he loose the grip.

Tae look up to Jungkook with his red teary eyes. "I have been a victim of sexual assault. I- I have been getting raped since I was a child. M-my step dad used to force himself on me e-everyday." At the last sentence tae broke down remembering those horrible days. Jungkook hide tae in his chest. "B-baby can you please tell me details?" Jungkook managed to ask when he himself is shivering from inside hearing Tae's background.

"I- I...tae tried to speak. But words aren't coming from his mouth. "Shh... it's ok if you don't want to say. I'm not forcing you." Jungkook said while caressing tae's hair softly. "N-no I want to say." Tae said. "My mom got married again...after my biological father died. But my mom doesn't know that my step father was just faking his love. He really didn't love my mom." Tae took a deep breath before continuing.

"He just make a drama to take the properties which my dad give to mom. But...in front of mom he always showed that he loves me like his own child. But it wasn't true. He was abusive towards me  on her back. Whenever mom was outside of sight he used to beat me mercilessly." Tae said and a tear roll down from his eyes which Jungkook wipe with his thumb pad.

"How old you were when your mom got married again?" Jungkook asked softly. "Five. My father died when I was two. Mom was devastated after losing her husband. Granny can't see her daughter like that. So she make her to go on blind date. That's where my mom meet my step dad. Mom told her conditions to my step dad. But he said that he don't have any problem that she's married before and had a child too." Tae said.

"He assured her that he'll love me like his own son and never make me feel that I had lost my father. My mom got relief after hearing his words. As I was always the first priority of my mom. So she always do the things which will be safe and suitable for me. But she didn't know that she fall on his trap." Tae continue.

"After getting married my step dad always do the things which mom loved. He always make her feel special. Yes, it's true that my mom loved my dad and there's no doubt but after seeing my step dad's affection towards her she eventually fall for him. As heart is not in our control." Tae chuckle.

"But she didn't know that all the love, affection was just a lie, a drama. He really didn't love my mom. He make this trap to make her fall for him. And he succeed. My mom fall in love with him. Slowly slowly he make my mom signed all the property papers and took that in his name." Tae chuckle bitterly.

There was a silent for a minute. "Then what happened after that?" Jungkook said while caressing tae's back encouraging him to say further. "After taking the properties he killed my mom." Jungkook gasp. "He killed your mom?" Jungkook asked. Tae nodded remembering how mercilessly and brutally his step father stabbed the sharp knife on her mother's neck and stomach.

"I saw him killing my mom. He noticed me and threaten me if I ever open my mouth in front of anyone then he'll kill the same way he killed my mom. I was eight back then. After that he lock me up in a room and torture me,beat me everyday." Tae sob. Jungkook was feeling like to kill that man with his bare hands. He close his eyes to control his anger.

"When I turn 10 he started to force himself on me. He forcefully r_ped me. Not once but almost everyday." Tae cry out loud. Jungkook's eyes turn teary too. Hearing how dark past tae have. He was just a child and saw the dirtiest things at that small age. When every other child play around and tae have to face those things.
