Chapter 28

Tae come back to his mansion at 3 in the morning. He straight went to Jungkook's room. For his surprise Jungkook was in the mansion. Tae thought maybe after the revelation Jungkook will left the mansion but he didn't. Tae slowly open the door. He saw Jungkook's sleeping figure on the bed. He make his way towards him.

He slowly sit beside him. He lean and kiss on Jungkook's forehead softly not wanting Jungkook to wake up. "I thought you'll leave. But you didn't. Why? You're making things hard for me hyung." Tae mumble. "I didn't wanted to hurt you. But I have to. I think it'll be best for you. At least you'll be safe." Tae said.

He caress Jungkook's hair. He admire him for some minutes before leaving the room. Tae come back to his room and sit on the bed. He sigh. "I've to think about the next plan. But before that I've to find out where that woobin went." Tae said angrily. Tae lay on the bed without even changing his clothes. Within few minutes he drift into sleep.

Time skip to next morning...
Jungkook is standing in front of Tae's room. He was battling inside his mind wether he'll go inside or not. After standing there like this for a while he finally decided to go inside. Jungkook slowly close the door behind him. He make his way towards tae who's sleeping in half laying position.

"Why is he sleeping like that? His legs must be sore." Jungkook thought. He bend down and pick tae up. He make tae lay on the bed properly. "I know you loves me. But I don't know for why you're doing this. You accept it or not but I'll always be with you. I'm not letting you go ever. I love you so much." Jungkook kiss tae's forehead.

After that he left the room. As soon as Jungkook left the room tae open his eyes. "Why you're like this hyung? Why you're not understanding that staying with me is not safe for you?" Tae said. He sit on the bed. "He is right. My legs are sore." Tae said a lil pout is visible on his lips. Tae look at the watch. It's 7 in the morning.

He sigh and get up from the bed. He went inside of the washroom for freshen up. After getting ready he went down. "Get me the breakfast quickly." Tae said in a cold tone. The maid nodded her head sacredly and left for her work. She come back with the breakfast and place it in front of tae. "Anything else master?" She asked.

"One orange juice." Tae replied. The maid nodded her head and left for getting the juice. After making the juice she again come back and place it in front of tae. "You can leave now." Tae said. "Let me know if you need anything." The maid said politely and left. Tae wipe his lips with the tissue after finishing his meal.

After having his meal he called the head maid lina. "Yes master? You called me?" Lina asked. "If anyone ask about me then told them that I went to office." Tae said in his usual cold tone and walk away.

Time skip after an hour...
Everyone is present in the dining area including Jungkook. He was sitting silently. The maids started to serve the food. "Wait... where's tae?" Jimin asked. "Actually sir... master left for office early in the morning." The head maid named lina said. "He told me to inform you guys before leaving." Lina further said.

"What he left? But he don't have any important meeting or work today." Jimin said. "Don't know sir. But he told me to inform you guys that he left for office already." Lina said. "Ok. You can go now." Jin said. Suddenly Jungkook stand up from his place. Everyone look at him. "Why are you standing up?" Hoseok asked. "I'm not hungry. I don't want to eat." Jungkook said and walk away.

"What's wrong with him now?" Namjoon asked. Jimin sigh. Jungkook drive his car towards tae's office with full speed. Don't know why but he's feeling like something is wrong. After reaching there Jungkook rush inside of the company. He quickly got on the elevator and press the button of tae's floor. When the elevator door open Jungkook come out. He was about to went inside of tae's cabin but tae himself come out.

But Jungkook furry his brows when he see a girl beside him. Jungkook marched towards them. He stand right in front of tae. Tae look at him with his usual cold face. "What's bring you here mr jeon?" Tae asked. Jungkook look at the girl and then at tae. "Can we talk?" Jungkook asked. Tae saw the time on his wrist watch. "We can. But you just have five minutes to talk." Tae said.

"Nevermind. Five minutes is enough." Jungkook replied. His voice is dripping venom. Tae look at the girl beside him. He put his hand on her back. "You go and do the work which I told you earlier ok?" Tae said and his voice become a bit soft. The girl smile a little. "Ok sir." She said and left. The floor is empty. Other then Jungkook and tae no one is here.

"So what you wanted to talk jeon?" Tae asked while crossing his hands over his chest. "Who's she?" That's the first thing Jungkook asked. His voice is cold. He didn't like when tae used his soft voice for someone else. Call him crazy but he is so possessive over tae. "Who? Oh the girl who was with me from past an hour?" Tae asked with a smrik. Jungkook gritted his teeth.

"Who is she?" Jungkook again asked. "Lily. My personal assistant." Tae replied. "But I'm your personal assistant." Jungkook said. "You WAS my personal assistant. But not now." Tae said. "But you can't fired me before the contract comes to and end. By the contract I'll be your personal assistant for at least two years." Jungkook said. "Two years? For what? You don't need this job at all. I mean you're already a cop. So what you'll do by doing this job?" Tae asked.

"Or is there anything left that you didn't collected against me? Tell me. I myself will give you that." Tae said. Jungkook sigh and close his eyes. He took a deep breath before opening his eyes. "Why? Why you're doing this to me tae?" Jungkook asked brokenly. "What I did? What you did? Did you ever asked that question to yourself jeon?" Tae asked. "I know I shouldn't have do what I did." Jungkook said.

Tae chuckle bitterly. "You did a great job by accepting that you shouldn't have do what you did." Tae said mockingly. "Tae I'm s- tae cut him off. "Your five minutes are over jeon." Tae said. "And about the contract so... I'm the boss here and I'll decide by whom I want to do my work. I don't want you now. You're not my personal assistant anymore. So you better leave from here." Tae said walk away from there.

Jungkook look down at the floor brokenly. "Why? Just why this is happening with me? Can't I be happy?" Jungkook said and tear skip from his eyes. Jungkook's phone started to ring. He look at the caller id and find his chief is calling him. "Now what he want?" Jungkook said and left the office.

Jungkook drive his car to a certain place. After sometime, currently he's standing in front of his chief who was glaring at him. "So tell me the progress jeon? How far did you reach to catch that mafia?" The chief asked. Jungkook was silent. The chief got angry. He slammed his hands on the table. "I f_cking asked you something jeon." The chief roared.

"I-I'm sorry chief." Jungkook said. "Sorry? For what?" Chief asked. "I'm sorry. But I c-can't continue this mission anymore." Jungkook confessed. "You what? You're joking right?" The chief said while laughing. "I'm serious. I can't continue this anymore. I can't bring him behind the bar. I'm sorry chief." Jungkook said while looking down.

"May I know what's the reason that you're leaving this mission in the middle?" The chief asked. "I didn't want to betray the law. So I myself say you that. Please don't expect from me that I'll take tae behind the bar. Because I can't. Things aren't in my hands now . I'm sorry chief." Jungkook said and walk away from the room.

The chief smrik. He quickly take his phone and dialed someone's number. "So what's the news chief?" The other person asked. "Everything is going like the way you want Mr Kim." The chief said. Tae smirk hearing this. "That's great." Tae replied and cut the call.

Tae lean on the chair. "So you tell that you can't continue your mission. That's what I wanted and you did that. Great work jeon." Tae thought and smrik.
