[The scene opens aboard the ship, the air thick with the salty scent of the sea. The princess steps onto the deck, her eyes wide in astonishment as she takes in the sight of the fully equipped vessel. She turns toward the commander, her voice filled with confusion.]
Princess: "Commander, why is everything already here? The gunpowder, the barrels, the food stores—everything is ready. Our original plan was to sail on the royal cruise, wasn't it? Why is this ship fully loaded for battle?"
[Before the commander can answer, a chuckle rises from behind her. Aquis, with his usual mischievous grin, steps forward.]
Aquis: "Princess, we know you well enough. You wouldn't settle for anything less than the best ship, would you? So I took the liberty of telling the commander beforehand to prepare everything here."
[The princess pouts, turning away, her lips forming a delicate frown. She crosses her arms, clearly feeling overlooked. Aquis, seeing her sulk, breaks into a hearty laugh.]
Aquis : "Ah, don't look so disappointed, Princess. No one's forgotten you're royalty. But there's more at stake here than just appearances."
Princess: [grumbling softly] "No one considers me a princess anymore. Everything just happens without me."
Aquis: "Now, now, Princess, don't be like that. Let me fill you in. We've got 30 crew members aboard—six of them are working staff, three for cleaning and arranging, and another three for cooking."
[The princess's eyes widen in disbelief.]
Princess: "Only six? Why aren't more people joining the crew?"
Aquis: [with a sigh] "Even if you paid a fortune, they wouldn't come. This mission... it's too dangerous. Health, life, and safety mean more than wealth, Princess. People know the risks, and not many are willing to take them."
[His tone becomes more serious as he continues.]
Aquis: "Of the remaining 26, 13 are prisoners—and then you lot . You and Count Vikram. Oh, and three elementals, one of whom is an original elemental among the prisoners as you know ."
[Aquis's voice takes on a teasing tone.]
Aquis : "Speaking of elementals, Princess, did you know Count Vikram is one as well?"
[The Count steps forward, his expression smug as he tilts his head toward the princess.]
Count Vikram: "Indeed, I am. And not just any elemental—I'm a rather powerful one."
[Before the princess can react, a voice interrupts from the crowd, low and mocking. Stormy, the cloudy-eyed elemental, steps forward, his presence as cold as a brewing storm.]
Stormy: [with a sneer] "Is that so, Count? I always took you for a weakling—someone who'd be afraid of an ant. Amusing, isn't it?"
[Vikram's eyes narrow, his jaw tightening as the two men face each other. The air between them crackles with tension, like lightning about to strike. The crew falls silent, watching the two in anticipation.]
Count Vikram: [with a cold smile] "Care to test that theory, Stormy? I assure you, you'll regret underestimating me."
Stormy: [with a smirk] "We'll see about that. But for now, I'll let you hold onto your fantasies, Count. Maybe it'll make this journey less... tiresome."
[The two men lock eyes, the unspoken challenge hanging thick in the air, but neither makes a move. After a moment, they turn away, each consumed by their own thoughts. The princess, sensing the growing rivalry, casts a glance at Aquis, who gives her a playful nudge.]
Aquis: "Looks like you'll have more than just storms to worry about on this trip, Princess."
Aquis continues: " Then there's the Rein knights, who have 5 elemental items seems. Including commander Edwin."
Count Vikram(astonished): "It seems like we can easily take on a small kingdom with this much elementals"
Princess: [in disbelief] "Charles Edwin? The esteemed, renowned commander Charles Edwin? The strongest metaI elementalist?never knew!"
[Before she can continue, Aquis steps in, with a smug grin.]
Aquis: "You never knew? The commander of Rein— is the most popular commander in all the kingdoms? Edwin Charles, or should I say, Charles Edwin? Princess, you really need to brush up on your history lessons."
[The princess turns, her voice filled with astonishment as she looks at the commander, whose towering presence now seems even more imposing.]
Princess: "You... you're the Edwin? The renowned one everyone speaks of?"
[Count Vikram, always one to savour a dramatic moment, leans in, his voice dripping with playful superiority.]
Count Vikram: "Oh, come now, Princess, I thought you knew. There's only one man who fits the description. Six-foot-two, built like a mountain, muscles that could crush steel—"
[He gestures dramatically toward the commander.]
Count Vikram: "—A sword as long as the size of a river, brown eyes with a murderous gaze, a cold-blooded stare that could freeze the bravest soldier in his tracks. Broad shoulders, an expressionless face—this is the man everyone fears and respects."
[There's a pause, the air thick with admiration. Then, breaking the tension, Aquis snickers and leans toward Count Vikram with a mischievous gleam in his eye.]
Aquis: [teasingly] "Wait a minute, Count Vikram... are you a fanboy?"
[The princess tries to stifle a giggle, her initial shock fading into amusement. Vikram's face flushes slightly as he stammers.]
Count Vikram: [grumbling] "I'm merely stating facts, Aquis. Just facts."
Aquis: [laughing heartily] "Right, facts... about his 'river-sized sword' and 'mountain-like muscles'? Admit it, Vikram, you've got a poster of Edwin somewhere back in your quarters."
[The princess, now smiling, raises an eyebrow at Count Vikram, who is trying to maintain his dignity.]
Princess: [mocking] "Perhaps Vikram has written a ballad about him too?"
[Vikram huffs, crossing his arms, clearly outnumbered.]
Count Vikram: "Very funny. But let's see who's laughing when we need a giant to save the day."
[Aquis slaps him on the back, still grinning.]
Aquis: "Oh, we will, Count. We will."
[The banter continues as the tension melts into laughter, the group finding humour in the midst of their perilous journey]
