Rey, Swayam and Taani were outside Swayam and Taani's place.
"Chal dude bye. Kal college mein milte hai." Swayam hugged Rey.
"Bye." Rey smiled.
"You sure you don't want to come in?" Swayam asked.
"No. I will meet you both tomorrow." Rey nodded at Swayam, smiled at Taani and left.
"Chalo!" Swayam gestured Taani to move inside, when she kept looking at Rey's car.
"Haan chaliye." They moved up the stairs and noticed the door ajar.
"Taani, humne lock to kiya tha na?" Swayam asked, unable to recollect if they had locked the door.
"Haan bhai. Maine to double check kiya tha. Kaka ko bhi do din ki chutti di thi." Taani peered inside.
"Ruko. Let me check." Swayam stepped in front of Taani and opened the door. Taani smiled at his protectiveness. They both entered and noticed the house was shrouded in darkness. Swayam switched on the lights and turned around.
"Surprise!" Two voices exclaimed. Swayam and Taani's eyes widened in shock.
"Aise kya dekh rahi ho baccha!"
"Taiji!" Taani ran towards Shipra, her taiji and Swayam's mom.
"Maa! Paapa! Aap kab aaye?" Swayam asked, coming out of his shock and moved ahead to hug Rishi.
"Kaise ho papa?"
"Main theek hoon. Tum kaise ho?" Rishi cupped Swayam's cheek with one hand and Swayam's arm with the other and looked at him lovingly.
"Main bhi theek hoon Papa."
"Tauji." Taani hugged Rishi.
"Kaisi hai tu? Khush to hai na?" Rishi asked Taani, patting her cheek.
"Khush kyun nahi hogi, apne laadle bhai ke saath jo hai." Shipra commented.
"Maa!" Swayam hugged his mother tightly.
"Aa gayi maa ki yaad. Hame to laga tha hamara baccha Mumbai aake hame bhool hi gaya."
"Maa!" Swayam groaned while Taani giggled.
"Kaha the tum dono? Ye to accha hai ki Rishi ke paas keys the to hum andar to aa sake."
"Maa, vo college ka trip tha to wahi se aa rahe hai." Shipra nodded.
"To sab honge na waha. Rey kaisa hai?"
"Theek hai vo."
"Aur Sharon, vo kaisi hai?" Rishi smirked at Swayam while Shipra tried to hide her smile.
"Vo bhi theek hai tauji." Taani answered when Swayam hesitated to answer.
"Theek hai. Raat bahut ho gayi hai. Abhi ke liye tum dono so jao."
"Haan taiji. Waise bhi bahut tired hoon." Taani yawned.
"Good night, tauji. Good night taiji."
