As the man turned back my eyes widened realising who he was .
" Jay? " I asked shocked.
" Pranvi! " He nodded .
" What're you.. " before I could even say anything he cut my words saying..
" Please don't get angry. I'm here to talk to you. " He stepped forward and I took a step back.
" Talk? Seriously? " I asked in disbelievers.
There's nothing to talk anymore.
" We've had our last words in the club. I don't have anything else to do with you anymore. Just leave. " I said firmly crossing my arms over my chest .
" No please.. listen to me. Once.. just one last time . " He begged joining his hands as I stood shocked.
Jay.. and joining hands infront of me is something I never imagine in my wildest dreams.
" Just give me a chance please. " He said softly.. his eyes turned glossy and I don't know why I felt bad seeing him like this .
" Ok fine. 2 minutes. Shoot! " I said finally giving in.
" Look I know what I did was wrong and nothing can justify that. But all I want to say is I'm really sorry for everything. " He said looking into my eyes with firmness in his tone and a determined gaze .
" That day your words, the hatred I saw in your eyes, it affected me. I can't bear this. Please forgive me? " He asked with his eyes filled with regret and hope.
I looked down as his words sinked in..
And without my knowledge I drowned in thoughts.. recalling my conversation with Kabir .
