2 days..
It's been 2 days since the office incident.
After that neither he came to meet me not he let me meet him.
I called him which went unanswered.
I texted him which he never bothered to look into.
It seemed as if he was avoiding me.
As the day of our wedding, our union was approaching, him and I seemed to drift apart.
This was not right.
We needed to talk it out.
If something was bothering him, he had to let it out to me.
It's not how it works.
" Why're you picking another jar of Nutella? 2 is enough! " Sarah's voice halted my thoughts and I came back to present.
I was in the supermarket with her to do the monthly shopping.. and I zoned out again like the uncountable times I've in the last 2 days.
" Sorry." I kept back the jar and we moved towards the billing counter.
" You stay herem. Who knows you'll end up paying extra being lost in your thoughts. God knows what has happened to you. " She said shaking her head and taking the things we have shopped she went forward for the payment while I stood silently looking into space .
5 mins later she came back with the huge bags and handed half of them to me.
" Chal! " She mouthed and we left from there . ( Come )
We went to our car and placed everything inside.
" Let's eat outside. I'm not in the mood of cooking today. And it's my day so obviously you won't cook. " She said and I nodded before we got inside and drove to one of the nearest restaurant.
Parking outside we went in and settled ourselves in one of the vacant tables.
" Kya legi tu? " She asked handing me the menu card and I started looking at the contents. ( What will you have?)
" Hey isn't that Jay? " I looked up from the menu card and saw Jay walking towards the exit with another girl .
" Heyyy Jay... " Sarah yelled loudly even before I could stop her.
He turned back and was surprised to see us.
He waved at us and and came towards us with the girl in tow.
" Hey .. what's up? " He asked looking at the both of us. I nodded awkwardly.
" Just decided to have dinner outside. You guys were leaving? " Sarah asked looking at them.
" Um yeah. We came here for dinner as well. We were done so.. " he said hesitantly scratching the back of his neck.
