Lyla is aware that she's no beauty queen. As aware that she isn't very ugly either. With great styling and little bit makeup, she looks pretty average. Yet she has an essence that makes her stand out. Her thick wavy long hair, like a drama itself brings her the great attention.

To give a great first impression, she chose her clothes meticulously. She wore black blouse with formal straight brown pants with really shiny polished black shoes. Her hair left open as it's the best feature of her body.

She reached the office a bit late but was welcomed warmly by the office boy. The ambience of the office was cozy yet very carefully designed in different shades of green and blue. Seeing lots of employees and a big office, she was sure that the management is good. Soon, she got her seat by a boy, who also had recently joined. The sales team was extremely chilled and relaxed. One huge difference was, their working hours were very flexible. It didn't matter if they were late in the morning, the only issue was their check out timing wasn't sure because of meetings with clients outside the office.

The sales team were designated with a separate section with a laid back atmosphere. One employee casually sunken into the bean bag was tapping onto laptop keyboards wearing his headphone, giving the impression that he's focused on his work but was playing video game, War Hereos. Another guy engaged in a pitch was flamboyant with his speech and body language. Her eyes fell on another guy in the middle of the desk, writing something on his notebook. A girl, having a superior air to her, was roaming around talking with a client in a sophisticated tone, calmly and precisely. Then there were two more girls chatting with each other and giggling slowly so as to not disturb others.

When she had entered the room, the guy writing in the notebook looked up curiously and the girls stopped chatting. The office boy told her to sit wherever she likes and she sat beside the guy with the notebook. "Jeet! Your name?" His bold voice inquired as soon as she sat comfortably.

"I'm Lyla Sharma. Hi Jeet." She smiled.

"Nice name. Well, I am a new employee here too, along with those girls in the back chattering non-stop." He threw his back against the chair and took a good look at Lyla.

"Hi Lyla, I'm Riya and this is Sangeeta." Riya and Sangeeta waved excitedly.

"Guess I'm the only newbie boy here." Jeet smiled brightly.

Four of them got familiar with each other's name and their role and how much time they've spent in the company. "I joined last week" Jeet said.

"I'm here since a month now." Sangeeta said.

"Here since three days." Said Riya.

Soon they were interrupted by the lady who was busy on the call. She sat on the biggest chair, which faced everyone. "I'm Kiran Malhotra. Sales Manager. Lyla, so great to have you here. I see that you have familiarized yourself with the newbirdies, so let me introduce you to Chris, at the beanbag, Assistant Sales Manager. Incredible personality, learn as much as you can from him. Then here's Aman, he's here since three years. He got good experience and great work ethics. He will be your trainer. There's another guy, he isn't here today as he's on sick leave. His name is Rajeev. Great guy. He's training Jeet and Sangeeta."

"That's wonderful. Nice to meet you guys. I'm excited to learn as much as I can from you guys."

"That's cool. Rule No. 1" Kiran tapped the table calmly as seriousness overtook her facial features. Lyla became silent and observed her.

"Just kidding. Just be chill and do your best everyday." She winked with a mischievous smile and left the room.

Lyla absolutely loved Kiran and everyone else in the team. She felt as if she was in a right place and was looking forward to each and every moment with them.

The first half of office hour went by in filling forms and signing documents. There was a little introduction in front of everyone which Lyla nailed so perfectly. She knew she made a great impression. The moment the clock hit 2pm, everyone in the sales teams got up and took out their lunch boxes.

"Let's go Lyla. Let us show you our Canteen or Lunch Room, whatever you wanna call it." Riya held her arm and walked by her side.

The lunch room was as bustling as it could get. People talking about their work, their home matters and especially what they did on their weekends. Lyla found herself seated at the large table, everyone eyeing her curiously.

A girl sat in the middle of the table, opposite of Lyla, talking with her friend, "I literally said what an ugly top is that!"

"No way you said that on her face." Sangeeta exclaimed in surprise.

"Yes I did. Bro, it looked like a fucking curtain." She remarked and most of them agreed and started laughing.

Lyla didn't asked about it. She didn't like the idea of making fun of someone's outfit. The girl looked at Lyla with softened eyes and merrily greeted her, "Hi, I'm Saya. Welcome to Webster Media."

"Hello Saya. I'm Lyla. Nice to meet you."

"So let me again introduce you to these people." Sangeeta initiated. "This is Yash from Finance Department. Ronit from Programmatic Media. Shiv from Digital Marketing."

Yash, Ronit and Shiv, these three looked extremely handsome. They alone raised the attractiveness level of the group by merely existing. Saya, although giving the impression of mean girl, was quite most of the time, laughing at Ronit's silly jokes. She seemed a quite and mysterious type. Yash seemed the loudest in the group and also the funniest. Shiv paid great attention to his phone while eating his lunch. He didn't seem interested in anything others were engaged in.

Lyla was welcomed warmly by the group. Three boys constantly made silly jokes and included her in friendly bantars. They shared their meals and continued with their bantars.

"Lyla, one thing you must remember is never listen to this guy" Yash remarked.

"Yeah don't listen to me. I don't care." Ronit nonchalantly shrugged his shoulder.

Lyla felt happy. She felt included. She knew lunch time is going to her favorite.
