Chapter name: Let it be crushed!

The night was eerily still, the air heavy with an impending sense of danger as Ava's black SUV raced through the city's winding streets. She was getting on Mr. Liam. The man was ruthless, a viper waiting to strike, and now he had the only family Ahiya had left in his grip.

The powerful woman seemed calm, too calm for someone with the mafia world circling around her. But Ava had seen more darkness than Ahiya could ever imagine, and she had always been two steps ahead of her enemies.

"We'll get them back," Ava had said with a chilling certainty that sent shivers down Ahiya's spine. "Liam's made his last mistake."

Ahiya on the hospital bed, didn't know whether to trust her completely, but she didn't have a choice. The only person capable of taking on someone like Liam was Ava, the woman who ruled the underworld with an iron fist while disguising herself as a legitimate businesswoman.

Ava turned to leave, but not before saying, "Stay back here with Arthur. He'll keep you safe. This isn't over yet." Arthur was also there to check on Ahiya whether she was well.

The Rescue

They arrived at the abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Noah and a small group of Ava's men were already there, scouting the perimeter. The tension in the air was palpable, but Ava's icy calmness was contagious. She knew how to keep her men focused.

Inside, it was dark, except for a few dim lights illuminating the cold, metallic structure. Ava signaled to Noah, and within moments, her team moved like shadows through the warehouse, taking down Liam's men quietly and efficiently.

Ava, her every step filled with dread. When they reached a large storage room at the back, Ava stopped and whispered to everyone, "Stay here."

"Ah, Ava. Finally decided to pay me a visit? You've brought quite the entourage."

Noah peeked around the corner to see Liam standing with a gun in his hand, a sneer on his face. Sean and Fia were tied up behind him, their faces pale with fear.

"You've crossed a line, Liam," Ava said coldly. "And now, you'll pay for it."

Liam's smirk faltered, and his eyes flicked toward the door as Noah and two other men stepped in, weapons drawn. "You think you can scare me, Ava? I know your secrets. You're not invincible."

"You're right," Ava replied, stepping closer. "But neither are you."

Before Liam could react, Ava's men sprang into action. Within seconds, they had Liam on his knees, disarmed and defenseless. Noah untied Sean and Fia, pulling them to safety, while Ava stared down at Liam with ice in her veins.

"Take him away," she said to her men. "I'll deal with him later."

Ahiya rushed forward from her hospital bed, embracing her siblings as tears of relief flowed down her cheeks.
