the nostalgia i feel abt this series is the only thing keeping the art block away rn 😭

I started getting back into it as soon as I heard abt the season 7 announcement, and I have smth a little special that I'm making to celebrate it which I'll post in the next chapter in just a sec

So in this first one I was experimenting w/ drawing Aphmau's hair short. She actually had short hair in Aphmau's Year, even at the end when it showed her getting on the plane to Starlight Wonderland. But then once season 5 starts her hair is long again?? Like damn that must've been a long ass flight 💀
So my headcanon is that she cuts it to shoulder length at the start of Aphmau's year, and it's just a little bit longer in Starlight + When Angels Fall. But then when she gets like sorta possessed by Irene or whatever in the finale, her hair magically grows a ton to like lower back length. Cause she looks more like Irene n it's like she's slowly turning into her right?? Get it???

next is Emerald Secret Aph. a classic

i remember first watching this season when i was 10, i isolated myself in my aunt's cold basement so i could binge watch it cause i was so hooked. when i finished the last episode i couldnt move i was so shocked

and the finale of When Angels Fall released just a month before i was at my aunt's, so once i got home i binged season 6 as well and ohh my god. it was one of the first times a piece of media made me cry and ill always remember ranting to my mom about how there's no way that was the end because it was so unfair. i waited so patiently for season 7 😔

and then there's Katelyn + Lucinda. i recently saw a clip from the WAF finale of when Lucinda is trying to bring Katelyn back and calls her Sugarpea and it made me realize how much i love them as a duo
