Once inside, the heroes split up. The Sentinel would confront Bloodbath, Astra would seek out Chapters, and Echo would deal with Friendship. Each hero knew they had to act quickly before the villains could consolidate their power.
The Sentinel made his way through the dark corridors, each echoing footstep a reminder of the stakes. He finally found Bloodbath, reveling in a pool of crimson energy. "You think you can stop me?" Bloodbath sneered, the ground beneath him pulsing with power.
"I don't think," The Sentinel replied, raising his shield. "I know." With that, he charged, using the light of his shield to dispel some of the darkness surrounding Bloodbath. The clash of their powers resonated through the halls, echoing like thunder.
Meanwhile, Astra reached Chapters' lair. The villain was engrossed in rewriting the narrative of their battle, the tome glowing ominously in his hands. "You're too late," he taunted, not even looking up. "The story is already unfolding."
Astra summoned her cosmic energy, channeling it into a concentrated beam aimed directly at the book. "You may control stories, but I can rewrite fate!" The beam struck the tome, causing it to flicker as the narrative began to warp and shift.
In a separate chamber, Echo faced Friendship. The colorful villain was surrounded by a glowing aura, whispering deceit into the minds of nearby citizens. "Your friends won't help you, Echo. They think you've failed," he laughed, the sound echoing with malice.
"No," Echo countered, his voice steady. "They'll see through your lies." He released a powerful soundwave that reverberated through the room, disrupting Friendship's manipulations. The villain staggered back, his facade momentarily shattered.
