As the heroes began to gain ground, the other villains felt the shift in power. Bloodbath stumbled backward, anger boiling in his veins as the darkness around him started to fade.
"Gather your strength!" he roared to the others. "We cannot let them win!" But the more he yelled, the more he felt the weight of their failures crushing down.
Friendship realized his hold was slipping. "No! You're nothing without doubt! I'll make you trust me again!" he shouted, but the citizens he had turned against each other now stood united, their bonds reforging in the fires of chaos.
