FOUR
Claire
It's now Saturday night. I feel better now than I was this morning. My mom is at work, once again. Stella left earlier today. She was in a way worse shape than me.
**FLASHBACK**
I'm currently in the kitchen with my mom eating breakfast. I hear loud footsteps coming down from the stairs. There I see the one and only Stella Parker. She looks in bad shape.
"You look terrible."
"No kidding."
She comes and sits down next to me. My mom gives her a cup of coffee and Tylenol, like she did for me. Stella thanks her and turns to me.
"I feel like shit. Why did you let me drink so much last night?"
"I didn't. You disappeared five minutes after we got to the party."
"Really?"
"Mmh," I say chewing the bite of my peanut butter toast.
"I'm sorry C. I didn't mean to leave you alone. I'm such a bad friend."
"No, you're not. You don't have to stay with me every time we go to a party."
"Still, I feel bad."
"Don't. Tell me about your night?"
"I don't remember much honestly. I blame tequila. What about you? How was your night?"
"It was good. Believe it or not, I surprisingly enjoyed myself."
"Seriously? That's great!"
"Yeah."
"Were you alone?"
"No. I was with Josh."
"Josh? My brother, Josh?"
"Yes. Do you know any other Joshes?" I chuckle.
"I'm surprised."
"Why?"
"Because you become all shy and mellow when he's around. I can't imagine you spending time alone with him and not running away, no offense."
"Blame it on the tequila." I wink.
We laugh.

I'm bored out of my mind. So, I decided to go take a bath and read a book. I was relaxing with my eyes closed, when I felt my phone buzzing. I dry my hands and pick it up. Message from Josh.
Hey!
Hey.
What are you up to?
Not much. Relaxing in the bath. You?
Nothing. I'm bored.
Sad. Don't you have friends to hang out with?
They're all busy drinking. Again.
Why aren't you?
I didn't feel like it. I drank last night. How's the hangover going?
