It was the night of the game and the trio watched from the suite seats of the stadium.
"Ahh, c'mon Booth! Guard your man!" Anthony shouted as he watched the game below him with a glass of whiskey in his hand. "Can't fucking wait until Daron Bland comes back from his injury" he says to himself
Meanwhile, at the mini bar of the suite, Kaylie and Danny chatted as they watched the game as well.
"He's a big fan of them isn't he?" She jokes
"Oh, colossal." Danny answered "He had a man cave in his house once." He revealed
"That's being taken down- GET HIS ASS!" Anthony shouted again "That's being taken down." He repeats himself
"Uh huh, for what?" Danny asks his best friend
"That's for me to know." Anthony answered as his eyes never leave the field.
"You having a good time?" Danny asked Kaylie and she nods her head.
"I'm having a great time! I've just ... Never been in these type of seats before. How did you guys exactly get these tickets?" She raises an eyebrow and Danny calmly shrugged in response.
"Perks of the business you're in. We're not broke." He answers honestly. Anthony then goes to the mini bar to get another drink while Danny and Kaylie keep talking.
"Well, I hate to break it to you two, but I don't know football." Kaylie says
"You're kidding." Danny says
"Leave her, now!" Anthony says behind them, causing the two to laugh
"I'm sorry! It just looks like a bunch of dudes running around-"
"OHHH GO CEEDEE!!!!" Anthony shouted in excitement as CeeDee Lamb scores a touchdown "YES!!!!" and He and Danny high five.
"You two are adorable." Kaylie smiles at Danny.
"I'm a fan too, just not as big as he is. So, I'm sorry, what were you saying?" He says
"I just looks like a bunch of dudes running around, I don't know the rules or anything like that." She finishes her sentence.
Quickly thinking, Danny comes up with a plan to make Kaylie more comfortable with the evening.
"Alright" He begins "See that guy right there?" He points to the crowd
"Uh huh" Kaylie nods.
"$10 says he's so drunk, he makes an ass of himself." He says
"You're on!" Kaylie jests
They watch as the fan gets up and screams "FUCK YOU COWBOYS!!!" at the top of his lungs, gaining looks from other fans.
"Oh, sit down! Shut up!" Anthony says, causing Kaylie and Danny to laugh.
"Damn it!" She says "how'd you do that?"
Danny shrugged "Oh, I didn't do anything, simple observation." He replies
"Okay uhh" Kaylie scans the field "$200 says that the kicker makes this long field goal."
Just as the cowboys line up in the middle of the field. Their kicker, Brandon Aubrey, kicks the ball, and effortlessly makes the 60 yard field goal; Anthony claps while Kaylie cheers.
"Woohoo!" She says, throwing her arms up in excitement.
"You're a psychic freak." Danny tells her
"You're just jealous." She kisses him on the cheek and holds out her hand "Money please."
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Danny digs in his wallet and pulls out a crisp $200 and hands it to her.
Later on, The Cowboys end up winning the game 20-15 and the trio leave the stadium in a limo. Anthony deals out everyone's cuts of the bank.
"800 grand for each of us." He says and Kaylie looks in astonishment. "Kaylie? We trained you for these past 3 weeks, and we had a loved time together." He says as the limo driver pulls over. "You were amazing." He finishes as he puts on his aviators and exits the limo.
"Where's he- where's he going?" Kaylie asks Danny, who sat silent next to her. "Danny?"
He looks at her with regret in his eyes. "Hey Kaylie .." he begins.
"Yeah?" She says
"You take care, okay?" He says to her genuinely and he gets out the car.
"Wait, no! What's going on?!" Kaylie asks frantically with tears swelling in her eyes.
"You did good, you're ready." He finishes before shutting the door. She sits there, as the two partners get into a separate car and drive in a different direction from the limo, and cries.
In the car, Anthony says
"We made an agreement ..." His eyes never leaving the road of the night "We're goin to Barcelona, that's the next mark."
Danny nods his head "No more distractions."
